Melinda--hope you are not getting sick. Sometimes when we can't taste stuff, or things taste funny means illness is on it's way.

Our dinner was delicious. We sure go through a lot of food on Sundays though. All the apps went, deviled eggs and crab stuffed mushrooms. There are about 6 cupcakes left and a little chicken/spinach stuff.

My cream cheese frosting didn't set up as much as I wanted it to. I probably used too much sf DaVinci syrup---plus cream cheese and some sf pudding mix. Oh well, they said it was delicious.

Today I'm making meatballs and zoodles. I sure hope the zucchini is still good.

Now green hair would've been such a conversation starter at work! With my Principal mostly ... I can just hear it..." Mrs. Hall, green hair is not allowed by teacher dress and appearance code ..."

Glad everyone enjoyed the LC dinner! Carb stuffed mushrooms sounds sooooooooo good

Goo morning all.
kcmama, yesterday it was 60 degrees and sunny here. This morning it is raining (which we need). We have snow coming this evening. I guess between 2-5 inches. Out in NW Okla. they are getting a foot of snow. I think I heard them say this morning KC is going to get another huge snow. Is that right?
I just finished eating 3 of the little meat/cheese balls along with a protein drink. Yummy!
Didn't someone say that almond meal is still $3.99 at Trader Joe's? I wish we had one here.
So what is on the menu today for everyone? I made turkey salad so that will be on the menu for lunch. I'm not sure about dinner.

Good Morning Sunshines. Time to rise and whine for everyone except Mike. I am letting him sleep as long as he can.

It sounds like everyone is back on plan. I have been eating more carbs than normal. But come wednesday I am back up on the wagon with ya! Hardcore too. I am thinking about giving up my beloved diet pepsi.

I am currently cooking some chicken wings. I started getting really shaky and weak about 45 mins ago so I ate a cheese stick and a handful of pepperoni just to get something quick in my belly. Feel better now. Wings will be done in 15 mins. Got my salad all washed. Get to try out my new salad spinner! yay. DH was so cute he said to me, "are you going to use your salad tosser?"

Kcmama...I love chicken thighs.. with the skin on and bone in.. and you always hear you can't overcook those.. well to me you can.. cause the chicken gets hard when it's over cooked and ironically my crockpot chuck roast.. I think came out way too soft... LOL.. I was thinking of making taquitos with those...when I cook on Sunday.. I wash each dish as I go.. but I don't worry about the counters or the mess on the counters until I am done.. so trying to juggle on cleaning every crumb..waiting on Carlos.. it really ruined my mojo for sure..salads as always perfect!! LOL. So I am searching now for some recipes for Sunday....

I have a shame scale victory.. I have only one dress that fits and Carlos had seen me in it on Saturday.. I know I know silly.. so I was trying to try on anything and nothing fit.. so I went to the too big bag.. and pulled out a dress and it was too small.... that was my Shame Scale victory... and Sunday I got back down to 341 this morning I am at 343.. grrr so I have to hop on it real good this week.. though I can't complain last week was a 7 pound loss.. but it sure isn't starting out that way...

Well first of all I weigh 343..and second of all...I am telling you it stops for days and days and days.. the weight loss.. then I binge....Alot of the times the reasons why I lose fast is cause I eat one meal a day.. thus the starve portion of my cycle...

Hi again. Left work, came home and had some lunch. Then headed out bargain hunting. Not a lot today but a few things. Then in the pouring rain, stopped at Aldi's for produce and their stupid produce truck didn't come in due to the weather. GRRRR I just needed a few things. Oh well, now I'm home for the evening. It is thundering and raining here. A nice afternoon for a nap.

I'm going to make some chia gel to use as a binder/filler for my meatballs later. Many people use it that way and it's super healthy and they say you can't even tell it's there. From what I gather, you should only use about 1 tablespoon per pound of meat. I have 3 pounds so I will make a gel with 3 T of ground chia and 6 T of warm water. Hope it works.

Good Afternoon Peeps!!

Still gray here with no precipitation. Hard to believe we could get 8-18" of snow when you look out the window but they say a mega snow event is going to happen again. Less than a week after the last one. When it rains it pours I guess. LOL

I went to Aldi. The only item they were out of that I needed was unsweetened baking cocoa. There has been a run on baking cocoa?! The checker at Aldi asked me if I had found everything I needed and I told him yes except for the cocoa. He said that they are low on a lot of items as trucks could not get through this past week due to the storm and now they can't get in due to the storm we are expected to get today. Vicious circle. I decided to buy a box of powdered milk as well I.C.E.

They showed grocery stores and even a mega walmart here on the news last night and this morning with practically bare shelves, esp. the bread aisle. I thought, Uh-oh, hope they have milk left tomorrow! They did and there was plenty. Then I hit up Sam's which is in the same parking lot as Aldi. From there I went to another grocery store. Then to my bank and then to the bank where my Visa is to pay my bill. The Visa is due in a couple of days but don't know if the roads will be passable or not. Better get it over with today, I figured. Also stopped at the mailbox. Someone cleared a path finally as there was a foot of snow around the mailbox plus you had to try to climb over the 2-3 ft snow along the street from the plows No fun!

Well the Jell-O mixed with cream cheese was a flop for me. I just don't like the texture. I'd rather have regular Jell-O with whipped cream. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
