Either they've really changed their recipe or my tastes have moved on from 99cent frozen pizza.
Good job ridding your freezer of those evil carbs, Mona!

I thing getting older brings with it a more refined palette. But I bet they have also changed the recipe for the worse during some cost-cutting attempt.

Good morning, Your Sexiness! A sexy lady should always feel romantic.

The cauliflower salad sounds tasty. I would also replace the ham with bacon, somehow it makes more sense in there flavor-wise.

Glad you're feeling better. Chicken soup sounds wonderful. Thanks for the great idea. I'll be making some myself and sipping all day with ACV and cayenne.

Mona...here is the recipe. You can also use plain yogurt if you don't have sour cream. I didn't use the no fat kind. I also didn't use the muffin top pan. Mine seems to stick anymore. I just used a large cookie sheet. This time I used poppy seeds on top. They make a nice big sized bun. I am fixing some later. Maybe I will post a picture. Or maybe not.....Eli is coming over so Nana will be busy!!!

I am getting ready to head to the kitchen Melinda. Are you there yet??
I am going to make those sausage cheese ball recipe I sent you.

Lony....you see what you get from getting in one of those hot tubs!! You get sick from kissing all over your hubs in that thing!!! LOL I hope you both get to feeling better soon!!!!!!

Good morning and hello to all!!! OH!!!! I almost forgot. Hubs and I went out to Carl's Juniors just morning (it's a quick hamburger place). They have those LC breakfast bowsl. It's scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese. It was SO SO SO good!!! Try it is you have one around you sometime.

Thanks for the recipe Sue!

I'm cooking the pork chops now. DH and I both started getting hungry. They smell good. I decided I'd rather have my salad with the chicken wings so I'll just have some of DH's green beans.

I love her, too. However, it makes me crazy that people like her can cook and eat like this all the time and still be slim. Why not me, too! I've been on a diet in one form or another continuously for the past 38 years!

Yea, I've thought that too. She's not a skinny minny but she's definitely not overweight. You can tell she is a woman who likes her food based on her blog posts. Maybe she just doesn't eat a lot of really super high calorie/carby things that she cooks?

Ugh....my belly is full of pork chop and green beans but my brain is trying to tell me we are still hungry. For sugar, no doubt.

I just made these yummy little sausage/beef.cheese balls. They do NOT use any Bisquick in them. They are SO yummy!! Here is a picture of the make believe bread also. NO those are not little bugs or ants on the top of the bun Melinda. They are poppy seeds!

Sue that food looks yummolicious! The buns look great.

A few years ago I used to read the PW's blog almost every day and I was all up in her business about the lodge. hahah. They have a ton of land with multiple houses on it. The lodge used to be all run down and stuff and they rehabbed it. But I can't remember why she travels there to cook instead of her own kitchen? Maybe it's more open and stuff for filming? But before she was on TV in her blog she always talked about going to the Lodge to cook...so I dunno.

Oh no, feel better. I have been having sinus pain on and off all week, mostly in the late afternoon/evening. I usually take a benadryl and it works within 20 minutes.

I love chicken soup. I have been making a weekly pilgrimage to the Chinese place that has the egg drop soup for only $1.50. It lasts me 2 meals cause it's about a pint. Now my dss like it too. And I have to get dh the hot and sour soup---lucky they are all only $1.50 each.

Some nice hot tea or coffee with sweetener and cream may help.
