The house that my friends bought was built in the 30's. It is cute with a finished attic and basement. No land at all and they pretty much stole it for $150

Lony, same thing at my house. We don't watch football. Tried to learn to like it without success. I'm afraid I find it kinda boring.

Things are busy. Next week is observation week for me.....all teachers go through it for annual evaluation. Sometime next week, don't know date or time (and by law we are not supposed to know) my principal will come in and sit in my classroom with a checklist and watch closely every single thing I do for 45 min and take lots of notes. Stressful!

It has been lots of working and extra time spent at work. Family's fine. Waiting for DS's 2nd SAT results to come out.

Good morning. I can't imagine no football in my house. Actually I slept in till I heard ds14in my kitchen about 8. I did so much prep yesterday, not much to do today but cook it all. Dh made the beef chili last night, tastes better the next day.

I have the laundry going and next I'm going to organize my clothes for the week. I need to try some new to me things on and see what fits so I can wear some new stuff. Plus it makes it so much easier to have my outfits for the week set.

Deb--those meatballs sound good.

Lony---yum on the hot dogs. DS18 went and got me a footlong dog at Sonic last night. They were half price for ground hog's day. I ate about 1/4 of it without bread, lol. My boys finised it.

Eliza--missed you.

Melinda--I hope you have a good day with your ds.

Mona--do you like the blood bank better?

Eliza I know you will do great. I think it is just the name Observation Week, kinda like people who freak out on tests. You know your stuff and you are a great teacher.

ME on the other hand would probably have my skirt tucked into my pantyhose with a big hunk of TP haning off my shoe during the whole thing.

Elizakins.. they do that once a year to my hubs as well.. they sit in his class for 6 hours Observing what he does..You are going to nail it!!!

Melindapoo there is not a recipe. Just slice open the hot dog and put some cheese in it and then wrap it in bacon and cook in the oven at 350, rotating the hot dogs while they cook so the bacon gets crunchy.

As for the depression ....it just felt like too much to bear. Worried what my health will be like if I don't lose a large amount of weight and feeling helpless in the WL department......'cause you know I keep trying and it all ends up being same old same old down and up game. Frustrating!

You can also make hot dog hearts ....slice in half lengthwise through the top except for the last 1/4 inch or so, then twist the ends around an attach on bottom with toothpick, then drop cheese inside, it will melt and take the shape of the hot dog heart....Something like this:

Hi again. I ended up going through all my paperwork and paid bills. Everything is just going up and up and up. Got notices that my water and phone bill are both going up. Food is outrageous. I don't know how we're supposed to make it and now we have huge tax increases---already deducted from our pays. Sometimes I just want to give up. Maybe we should all go on welfare and food stamps---at least they get cost of living allowances. GRRRRRRRR

So now I'm in a fowl mood---if you couldn't already tell. I need to snap out of it because I can't eat---can't drink---don't do drugs. What is a person supposed to do?????

I hear ya Chewie. My paycheck is lower, as is everyone's now. Just got the electric bill. I thought the summertime was going to be our highest electric usage with the A/C. $100-110 was bad enough which is what we were paying thruout the end of summer, early fall. But now that it's been cold and the heater is on all the time, last month's bill was $196! I was pretty shocked when I opened it.

Chewie to answer your question, I like working at both labs about the same. They are different and interesting in their own way.

my electric is always higher in the summer even with the Christmas lights cause we heat with propane but the AC is electric! wish i had a solar set up!

We don't do Super Bowl. The only time I am a sports fan is when the grandkids are playing or the Cardinals are in the World Series.

I hear you. I haven't gotten even 1% raise in the last 4 years, and DH only makes 50 cents an hr more than he used to make in 2004! Tough times
