It is snowing like crazy. My boss(pastor) canceled all activities tonight and told me to go home. LOL Yeah, easy for him to say--he doesn't get paid by the hour.

I will lose weight the first week.. usually cause I haven't taken my water pills and it's right in the middle of TOM.. so the weight loss is fantastic.. the 2nd week and beyond. it is slower than a turtle..then I get frustrated and binge.. it's almost like a cycle of abuse I swear..

Welllll.. Wed is bagel bacon day for hubs.. so I will make the package of bacon.. and have a couple of slices along with my big fat steak...I toast a bagel with cream cheese and pile it high with bacon.. and make a sandwich for hubs...then tonight I am going to make a bacon cheeseburger for sonny boy as he is playing in the basketball game.. their team both girls and boys is supposed to go all the way...

So I am hoping the steak and bacon hold me for the entire day and evening...

Chewie, this looks really yummy!!!! Lony, your recipe also sounds great!

Mona, I am a night snacker also. Hubs and I have always had a snack at night. He decided a couple of weeks ago to try and stop it. He has been doing a good job of it so I've been working on it also. I find when I am watching tv it is a tricker for me. I think I want food when watching tv. I can come here here and get on the computer in the evenings and I do ok.
Focus, I really like pork rinds also. I like them with cream cheese.
I used to fix them in a brown bag with butter and sweetener and cinnamon. I'm going to try and not do that this time around on LC. That was like candy to me!

Night snacking is hard to stop! We just get so conditioned to eating while doing certain activities.

I've never been able to hack pork rinds. Just the smell when I open the bag. I tried breading some chicken with them and could not eat them. Into the trash they went.

I am addicted, once i open a bag i cant stop until i finish it. I brought loads when i saw them on offer but now i know i cant control myself i am going to limit to one bag for the whole week. Its the calories, i dont count carb or calories but i think when i dont lose its due to too much calorie consumption.

Going for a 20 mins walk after work before i go home and have dinner. Need to get any extra exercise in where i can. x

I am a 41yo stay at home dog mom. I have one step daughter who is 23, married and mother to my two darling granddaughters.

My husband works in oil field services and he works 15 days on and six off. He is gone for his whole 15 on so on the wednesdays that he comes home i get weirder than normal.

This looks so good to me but I love Cuban sandwiches;

Jen's Cuban Sandwich Spread
1 can Lite Spam (yes, Spam! it grinds up more smoothly than regular deli ham. If you are categorically opposed to Spam, by all means use deli ham instead.)
4 heaping tbsp Dill Pickle relish (or chop up whole dill pickles)
2-3 tsp of dill pickle juice (from the relish or pickle jar)
6 oz (3/4 of a block) of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup 0% Greek Yogurt
1-2 tbsp mayonnaise
3-4 tbsp yellow prepared mustard (or Dijon works, too)
Cut the Spam into blocks and put it in the bowl of your food processor ,then pulse until it is well chopped. Now add in the other ingredients and process until it becomes a smooth spread. You don't need to add ANY salt AT ALL. Taste it and adjust the mustard/Greek yogurt/mayo ratio to your taste. Store it in a covered container in the fridge, or dive right in and get your Cuban on.

Hi girls

I'm finally back home after tutoring. Cold and rainy. Making some soup to eat with lots of cayenne and ACV......about 30% of my students are sick and some germ/virus is trying to get me. Gotta stay ahead of it.

Lucky, Chewie, and everyone who is snowed in - stay safe and warm.
