Sue, I would recommend reading Why We Get Fat first. GCBC is a lot more boring and a tome of scientific research. I've read both and WWGF is like the Cliff notes for GCBC.

Either way, no matter which one you pick, very eye opening.

I am up from Twoterville (299ish) back to 308 after some depression binges and lack of attention to my food Thanksgiving through present. I'm back on track though. Stay LC through the day till I get home from work and overdo it in the evening.

I am guilty of this as well (doing good early in the day then pigging out at night). I have often wondered if it's because I need to eat more at breakfast and lunch?

Jeese Deb I can't imagine doing all that planning and yet I bet it would make life easier...

I made catfish with ground pork rinds. I did not care for it much but my boys loved it. They like pork rinds and I don't. I found it heavy and greasy although it did crisp up a lot in the oven.

She made them tiny I think.., its 2 carbs and 3 proteins ..recipe makes 25 brownies.,...not in my house..

Lony---I think you can easily use chia seed gel for an egg substitute or ground flax mixed with water.

I found a recipe that is the ham and cream cheese roll ups only it is a spread.

Chop up the ham super fine, add cream cheese and chopped pickles. I am drooling just thinking about it!

I really really really really really really really love roast beef...smear of mustard, with a piece of pickle rolled like a taquito...OMG.. and a good deli pickle.. not the jar stuff...I could eat a pound of that....my mouth is now watering.. however I am going to make my big fat steak.. LOL!!

I think i ate too much pork rinds last night which might mean i had too much salt as the scales are showing a 1lb gain. I really need to cut back on my weighing but its addicitive. I worry i will go off track if i dont. x

I'm getting a lot of "grats" for my weight but I don't know if you guys realize I had to adjust my weight UP by 16 pounds.

Gained some weight over the holidays and it's high time to get back on the band wagon....which it seems a lot of us are doing!
