Deb.. I am down, as my son would say, but I am down for a low carb restart...I was up to 363.. feeling like I could hang myself.. but I got so scared because 404 was just around the corner.. so I have been doing a lower carb WW of course...but not shying away from what I want.. if I want a little popcorn I will have it, if I still have the points.. anyway I am now at 343.. so let's do this...

I know Deb...we are in the same boat. DH got so overweight(and I'm not losing anymore weight) because it's easier to buy convenience food and fast food and crap then cook real, nutritious foods every day. It's a vicious cycle.

SUE! I cannot get passed the gas prices going up out here.. and I got my food ads and no good meat deals...none.......I am going to the produce store on Saturday....and I can't wait to pass out in the aisle..

Deb..I am making myself walk every day.. this week it's for 25 minutes.. I told Sue and Lony.. I am not trying to do anything extra just that...and now with having to come up with 270 bucks I don't have and the doggy door flap being broken again.. I downed a ton of bacon and sausage and eggs so I don't binge on the junk food...we all can do it...I only have one dress that fits and that's it...I am just putting it out there cause I am in that same boat as well.. and really ashamed of what I did to myself.. even my sexy bras don't fit anymore...

makes me soo mad Melinda! supplies are up demand is down and oil is hovering around 90 bucks a barrel and all it is ,is manipulation i had a little under half a tank and it costed 52 bucks to fill my van! INSANE and i gotta do it again today and since i am close to empty and last night it was 3.89 it will be 70 bucks i bet today

90 bucks?? try 95....and the explanations are just amazing from refineries going out and needing to be bought by someone else.. to let's see people are buying oil as investment thus pushing up the prices.. OMG

Melinda for my stay-cation I do plan on resting a lot. But I do have some projects I want to get to. Finally unpacking my "second" living room which has become a junk magnet. Clean my car out good, inside and out. Mow the lawn. And finally use the carpet cleaner. My youngest cat has a peeing-on-the-carpet problem. I bought the 2nd cat box and try to keep it cleaned out. I don't know what else to do.

I am praying when I get down to your weight, I can move again without thinking of a nap.. now with this weight I can't do a bunch.. but as long as you rest and do stuff you want to do...watch some good movies.....one of my dogs every once in awhile pees in the house.. and that pisses me off...

Listen Mona, I cook every single day practically and sometimes I can scream.. I am so serious, it gets old LOL....tonight though for sonny boy I have a Marie Calender's lasagne and a green giant boil in the bag broccoli in cheese sauce....maybe it's best to make a menu like Chewie.. but OMG sometimes I want to say let's all fast tonight!!

could it be a UTI??

see if you can find some "cat attract" you put it in the litter box and it helps

are they going in the same place?? you might need an enzyme cleaner like nature's miracle to get it out

I just went and weighed myself. I haven't weighed in months. 292. That is after eating and drinking all day, and fully clothed. I'm guessing about 285 as a "first thing in the morning" weight. So I've gained a bit, but I'm glad I didn't go over 300 because that mentally would suck.

If it's a UTI she's had it since I got her like 2 years ago. I have just always felt she was one of those cats that has to have a pristine litter box....but I'm so bad about cleaning it every day. It wasn't that big of an issue when we lived at our old house because she peed in the corner on an old, crummy linoleum floor. But now it's carpet. Different story. Yes it's one spot I think...in the livingroom. Getting kinda stinky. Makes us not want to go out there and watch movies. Need to get it cleaned up. Maybe I should take her into the vet. I will look for cat attract too. is that something you sprinkle in the cat box? Thanks Deb.

Well if you want the scientific answer....it's because men have a higher proportion of their bodies that is muscle mass which is WAY more metabolically active than fat. So they burn more calories just by sitting around doing nothing.

Good Grief, Mona??? really????? of course...

when my son lost his weight.. he dropped it without any exercise and he ate nothing past 3pm, but he ate what he wanted...after 3 pm he just some sunflower seeds..and he dropped weight so fast...he went from 179 I believe to 129... from June to Sept...I told him please keep it off don't be like me and your dad...

Mom's cat Sugie will hold it until she can get outside if the litter pan is not freshly done! she ain't using it after someone else! LOL but she has always been and indoor outdoor cat though and we have a BIG yard and not much traffic on our road(but she won't go to the road anyway) she goes straight to the huge cedar tree and then knocks on the door to be let back in

or

you might have to order it online but if there is a petsmart near they shpuld hav ee it
and we have one who does have frequent UTIS(lol i know she is getting one when i see her going in and out of the bath=tub! at lat it is the bathtub!)
and i use those reusable potty pads for grown people(had them for mom's bed when she was here. the cats get to associating the litter pan with pan and so won't go but i put that pad down at night and she will go there i just wash it and put anew one down really good inventions they are


a search showed they have them for doggies too soo that could be something to look for

and oh petsmart should have an enzyme cleaner too

Does it seem like we have seen every low carb recipe out there.. it seems like that to me.....I have started to look up pasta salads, to see if the salad could hold up without the pasta.....

Anyway I better get my hub's lunch ready for tonight...being I cooked on Sunday.. it's just a matter of getting it packed...

Ok, whew, ALL laundry is done. Blankets, mattress pads, everything. I took my crafts to storage, went to the family dollar and got Fred a new bed and blankey. Went to the grocery and got all of Mikes necessary items. Washed and vacuumed the car, changed the cat box. Now I just have to do the dishes and vacuum the house. Whew I need a nap.
