Wow, I've been working since I left here. Tons of food prep done---ceeseball made, strawberries washed and drying, jalapenos cleaned, veggies prepped(red & yellow peppers and celery), marinated wings. Made 3 more egg burritos. Cleaned all te dishes. Geese, seems like I should have gotten more done in a few hours but I was working steady???? O, I also made a big bowl of guacamole too.

Strawberries are done. DS18 said he didn't care if I made the crackers or not and I'm out of steam so either they'll be done tomorrow or not at all. We have pepper slices and celery to dip.

Ds's friend just went home. I love when people are reasonable and actually pick their kid up and care. LOL That doesn't happen here too often. Usually we're forcing them to go home and we usually have to drive them. GRRRR
I think it's naptime. I'm not really sleepy but I want to get warm and cozy in my bed. Maybe I'll read for a bit. I still need to do some laundry but that can wait. The washer isn't going anywhere. |

Shape cheese mixture into 36 balls. Shape one beef portion around each cheese ball. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs. Place cracker crumbs in another bowl. Dip meatballs into egg, then coat with crumbs. In a large skillet, cook meatballs over medium heat in oil for 10-12 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink and coating is golden brown. Yield: 3 dozen.

My daughter and SIL are making a trip to Iowa City to pick up his things. It's about a six hour trip. She had to go 80 miles to pick him up at a bus station. I have the boys so they wouldn't have to make the long trip. Please pray for him as he tried to find a job. Mo teaching jobs don't pay much. Since he lost his job, the boys are eligible for free lunches.

Yep we have them in their house and I unpacked the kitchen.
 I am slightly jealous of their super cute house. Ahhh all the room.LOL I just put the hot dogs in the oven so time will tell. |

Lony, helpful as always, unpacking the whole kitchen.....Was their house super expensive? You mentioned once that houses in the area are very expensive..... Sue, how is little baby Layla doing? Deb, those bacon cheese hotdogs sound like the perfect Superbowl food. Hope you make Ken some. I'm trying to avoid going to Walfarts. It will probably be packed even more because of per-game food shopping. Bet Melindochka is already there. |

Sue.. Good Morning...my son told me he was getting up at 4 am to watch the Football hype.. he had me watching it all day with him yesterday.. OMG.. but it's ok.....watching a football game with him, when his team is playing is pure torture especially if the Ravens are behind and they lose OMG I maybe moving to San Francisco....it's 5:54 am and he is still sleeping...silly kid... He told me he got invited to several Super Bowl parties.. but he wanted to stay home and watch the game... he wasn't in the partying mood..OMG LOLOL!! PASS THE BEER!!!!! I am gonna need it... |

Ok I am off to get dressed.. run and get some sugar free ice cream and a angel food cake and some breakfast bars for sonny boy's lunch and some gas...that is now almost 4 dollars a gallon again.. last week the gas was 3.55 and yesterday it was 3.99...that is literally 44 cents up from last week.. I thought it was winter and it was supposed to be cheaper...
Then I will come home and watch more hype.. then the game.....OMG I hope the Ravens win...or else this house will be unbearable!!! LOL... |

Hello friends.
I had a few minutes to pop in from work. I'm at Blood Bank tonight but the senior technologist went home 45 mins ago. I'm flying solo for an hour until day shift gets here. woo hoo! I'm rather new in Blood Bank so that's sort of a big deal. Anyhow, it's been a pretty slow night. Not that an emergency couldn't pop up at any minute....but for now it's slow so I had time to check the boards. Long story, eh? Lony those hot dogs sound good! I'm going to have to try them. Deb I kinda like the meatballs with the jelly/chili sauce.  But your recipe sounds good too! Basically I never met a meatball I didn't like.  Howdy Eliza! Don't be a stranger. Chewie methinks it's time to train DS18 how to make his own crackers. LOL. You do SO MUCH for your family. It's OK, just kick up your heels and take a rest. Lucky I hope your SIL finds a new job soon. Again, I'm so sorry he had that accident and lost his job.  Hiya Sue! Melinda I hope all goes well watching the game with your volatile football son.
