Laundry is half done. I still have Mikes clothes to wash but I still have a week to get those done.

Now I am just trying not to go get some carbs!

Lony, little Carol is so sweet. How is our Little Lony doing? Got any recent pics of her?

Focus, glad you had a good time swimming and found your fears to be for naught. Now you won't be stressed out each time you go to the pool!

Okay, I am heading to the kitchen to start cooking. Dh and oldest just came in and I am sending dh to go pick up youngest from ballet.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU ALL!
The pie was fantastic---I only tasted it when I made it but my Dh and ds14 loved it. WARNING: it is made with tofu. I only told my dh not the boys. They might have decided not to like it then. LOL I have the recipe at home if anyone wants it---it was pretty easy too but I didn't use a crust and it was a little soft.

No snow here, Lony although it's chilly today, only going to be up to 40.

Woohooo heat wave! It snuck in and snowed about two inches overnight. We are going to get up to 32 for a high today. I like snow as much as the next person but geeze-a-lou enough already.

So what's on deck for everyone today? I've been plugging along in my kitchen, getting it cleaned up and stuff. I made us leftover turkey dinner (from Thanksgiving). Iit was pretty good even tho it had been frozen for several months.

I need to decide what I'm going to cook next and get it thawing. Wouldn't it be great if humans only needed to fuel up like once a week?

I walked past a pizza place at lunchtime and the smell was amazing! if only i live on just the smell. Even though it smelt heavenly i wasnt tempted a bit. Just had a large leafy chicken salad for my lunch .

We don't have many low carb products in the uk that isnt meat and veg so i ordered a whole load of stuff from a online website. Ordered Da vinci syrup and hersey syrup, cant wait to try them in coffee. hmmmm!! Does anyone know how many carbs are in coffee if any please? x

I think coffee only has 1 carb per cup but truthfully, I don't even count it since I only have 1 cup a day. The sf Davinci syrup is carb free. My favorite is the caramel and white chocolate.

The day after Valentine's day used to be my favourite day... stock up on half priced candy!!

Last night I had a few heart shaped jujubes my hubby stupidly brought home from work. I held off eating them for four hours but in the end I ate those stupid friggers. I was rushing to the bathroom with the runs within five minutes!

I deal with sugar cravings every single day of my life, though they are much milder now then when I was eating sugar. Nice to know that my body agrees that sugar is poison. Only wish it would stop craving the nasty but so delicious stuff!

I guess I am going to watch it snow and count the snowplows that drive by. I should clean and then do my nails. Then I may sew some doll clothes.

Yes, that would be awesome! Cook and eat once a week, yes! I have been online reading blogs for the last two hours!!!! I had just gotten up and started to do a morning pick up when I stopped to take the pic I sent to Lony to post. Valentine's dinner last night was soooo yummy. I ended up not doing the brussels sprouts substituting an Asian slaw salad to go with the Roasted Butternut Squash I did with Rosemary and Cranberries and Salmon. Tonight we are having Shrimp Scampi, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Walnuts and Parmesan. Not sure whether I will serve the Scampi over rice or pasta yet.

I know! I have some of the same issues. I have 6 cupcakes left from yesterday......

Well, get back on the lc and you should be ok. I weighed in this morning and really have not gained anything at all since I weighed on Tues though I went off plan Wed night and yesterday. I didn't lose anything from Sunday to Wed anyway.

Had to share this. Every day I collect shoes from downstairs leftover from the day before. I lined these up on the stairs to take up and noticed that they were alk in the same color family! How cool is that? So I had to take a photo.

Lony, have you started on a new doll dress yet? Did you buy fabric or are you using leftovers from your stash? I am envious of all the snow you get! How far did you and the Fredburger walk this morning? Does he now finally wear his boots?

I am just using leftover fabric for the doll clothes. I have not started anything else yet, but I hope to today.

Fred and I only walked a half a mile. The wind was blowing too hard and the wind chill was around 0 so we cut it short.

Fred will NOT wear his snow boots. He is such a doofus!

It is beautiful, but I am ready for some spring. It has been snowing since the first of October Average is two feet, the wind is making some monster drifts though.

Ok. I am back. Since I could literally just sit all day and read this thread and all my blogs I told myself that I could not get back on after my last post until I did a few things. So, I knit 1 round on the current cowl I am working on (185 stitches per round), did the breakfast dishes and put away items, went to the basement for a new bottle of laundry detergent, put in a load of darks, and got dressed! Now, I can allow myself to get back on for a bit!
