Well, there is no temp this morning. We are sitting at a big fat 0, but the sun is out. I really hope I can get out this afternoon and have a nice walk. I need the sunshine on my skin.

I did really good on my eating till I got cabin fever and I started feeling sorry for myself. So I fell face first into a bowl of ice cream. Today is going to be lots of water and a restart......again....for the millionth time. Because as they say, success is getting up one more time than you fall down.

Lony, you've done great and can continue to do it. Get out in that sunshine and like you said push the water. Maybe don't keep those kind of snacks in the house when you're trying to be more strict on plan?????

I didn't have them in the house I went out and purchased I guess the good thing is I knew WHY I was doing it.

Good morning! Home from work. Last night was my first night in Blood Bank solo...because my co-worker called in sick. Stressful at times, and I was busy all night. But overall it went well.

Last night at 9pm when I started work I had to take a pill. I felt a little woozy but I just made sure to concentrate so I didn't make a dumb mistake. Right now it's borderline high. It's like 145/72. not too bad. I'm due for another pill at 9am if I think I need it. It's weird....it will just up and spike really high and I don't know why. I haven't had any caffeine for 3 days either, thinking that might be it. But that doesn't seem to be the problem. I have another appointment with my doctor on Tuesday morning.

Afternoon All!!

Well, I have been putting it off and putting it off but this morning I made myself go to Sears Automotive to get my oil changed and tires checked. Turns out that I had to get 3 new tires. Ugh. Hoping that the new tires will solve the issues I have been having with losing tire pressure. They also checked all my fluids and systems etc. They say that I need a radiator flush and new radiator hoses. I opted not to do that today. Really need to check with the dealership to see if I have had that done and when. The dealership is always talking me into some system flush! Plus if I can push this unexpected financial burden off for another month.....

Came home and called my parents as I haven't talked to them in a week or so. Did the breakfast dishes and a couple loads of laundry. Been checking blogs and have eaten twice since I came home! Apparently didn't have much appetite yesterday but for some reason it has hit today. Lony, let's come up with some quick low carb desserts to take the place of ice cream. I am wanting something sweet and creamy myself. Ok. I should get up and head upstairs to make the kids' beds, pick up their rooms and clean the bathrooms.

Mona, I kinda made that sirloin roast recipe. It was good but the flavor tended to be on the outside of the meat. Maybe I can try to find a recipe that marinates to see if it will have more internal flavor...... I did like roasting it that way though. The house sure did smell good. Hope you get to find out what is going on with your BP soon.

Sooooooo, where is everybody? I have found a recipe that looks good for Pork Carnitas from a Sirloin Tip Roast so that is what I have decided to make with the second Sirloin Roast for dinner tonight. Thankfully I live very close to grocery stores as I had to run out to get Salsa Verde. Decided to pick up some pkgs of the Lipton Pasta Sides and more Yoplait for youngest while I was there. That recipe sure is smelling good! I am thinking that it should be fairly low carb. I do have those Mission Low Carb Tortillas that I could use for myself if necessary.

It is such a beautiful day. I went to Sheridan to get a doll. I found a disney princess one with the exact same measuements for $19.00! Score. Now I am getting ready to sew. haha

Kcmama I am wondering about taking plain greek yogurt and putting some sf jello powder on it...or pudding powder...creamy and sweet.

Hmmmmm, that might work! I bought sugar free pudding while at the store. I bought a chocolate and a vanilla. Was wondering how to make them up as lc. Should I use sour cream or hwc? I do like the Atkins recipe with the sugar free jello and sour cream. I didn't think about using yogurt. Guess I was figuring it would have too many carbs and sugars but plain Greek could be an option I guess. Have you tried any yet?

I just had to have a snack as I was very hungry. I ate Spicy Hot Pork Rinds and dipped them in Blue Cheese dressing. I feel better now.

It was the cinderella doll. It plays music. I had to pull the connector out of her back to take her dress off. Now she is laying there all nakey. I guess I better get some clothes on her.

Hummm I have never tired the jello and sour cream. I should make some. I use HWC and water to make SF pudding.

My eyes are doing good - another 2 weeks and I'll get my glasses prescription.

Just not up to chatting. If I were an artist, I could say I'm going through my blue period. As I said - it's nice to read that most everyone is doing well. To those that are lurking and reading like myself, aren't these gals the greatest?

you have looked at all the free tutorials for 28 inch dolls?? LOL i think i bombarded your email with them
i even have 2 or 3 sewing patterns for outfits and i don't even have girls LOl ashleys little sisters had the knock off AG dolls and i made stuff for them back in the day snuggies , gloves scarves and those purses are really easy but i bet you can do the way complicated things great

We're supposed to get snow starting tomorrow night. Although they are only predicting 2-3 inches, I'll take it. I like a little snow each winter. I'm going to wear my boots finally.
