I assume you mean the pole strippers use?... Speaking of which...I don't know if you ever watched Huell Houser (sp)...he recently died...but, we watched a show he did on belly dancing...don't laugh....but, there were women of every size and age there..bonding and having the best time...one never knows what the future holds...so..enjoy the moment..

I just asked Mike where we could put a stripper pole and he said, you can't even do yoga in here. If you had a stripper pole you would take out a wall.

My son in law was fired from his job over sliding off the highway on the snow. It happened in Iowa City, they took him to Nebraska and fired him there. He has to buy a bus ticket home and then go to Iowa City to get his things off the truck. He also has a ticket for not keeping his truck under control. My daughter is about to lose it.

I was very sad too..I thought about him for many days after...I was shocked actually...he was young..well about my age...so, of course that's young......he was corny and likeable and always repeated what everyone said...he made you smile...and you learned things about California you would never have known...or you would bump into a place that he highlighted...Old Town Orange for example. He was one of a kind.

Oh Lucky I am so sorry.

You should mention to him that they are hiring tons of truck drivers in Willison ND. Oil field services make TONS of money and they are always looking for guys to drive water trucks.

Thanks, Lony. They own a home here and my daughter is a teacher, so I don't think they are open to moving.

I'm so sorry to hear this Lucky. It seems a little unfair since you can't really control any vehicle once it starts sliding on ice. Prayers and good wishes going out to your daughter and son-in-law.

They don't have to move. He can work there and come home on his off days. It would be pretty much the same as him being OTR. Just a suggestion. With his ticket it is going to be hard for him to find another company. In Williston they are pretty much taking any warm body with a CDL

This was posted on facebook by one of my most favorite authors ever Susan Elizabeth Phillips. She is one funny woman!

Listening to the radio on my way home from yoga, and I just heard the funniest thing. A woman called in. She was getting ready to go on a cruise and her husband was helping her with her waxing. As she said, "He put on too much and waxed my hoo-hah shut." And you think you have problems!

Sorry about SIL's job Lucky. I'm sure he will find another job driving. They are always looking for drivers it seems. It's good DD has a good job.

Melinda!!!!!!!!!! Yeah! He got accepted and I'm sure he is beyond excited! Now mom just has to hide the tears. There will be tears for awhile...a long while but it's going to be an exciting time for him and a new part of your life will start.
