Note to self:
Do NOT let yourself get hungry...
LC is not a way of eating if you just want to grab something to eat whenever.. I found this out the hard way... Normaly im realy prepared... I would have some type of cheese or lunch meat in the fridge that is easy to grab and toss in the microwave to heat up quickly.. That way, if I get hungry id have something "good" for me to grab instead of something loaded with carbs... Well, when shopping the other day, I forgot to get me things like that.. Then of course I get hungry and there is NOTHING to just grab and eat.. AND im being lazy and realy sick of scrambled eggs....So, what do I do?? Do I totaly mess up and eat crap??? NOPE.. I did not... Instead of thawing something out to cook, I just go hungry... Yea. im a dork.. I admit it... So, today I was going thru the cupboards and found a can of tuna fish.. It was that or my husband Nutter butters.. LOL... Thank God the tuna won the battle.. So, the moral of my story is that BE PREPARED so you dont sabatoge yourself.. ![]() |

I totally agree. Pepperoni is a good backup, mozzarella sticks, hard poiled eggs, greek yogurt (s/f), chicken thighs (cook a bunch on the weekend), or chicken wings, protein shakes. Have you heard of the things that H.A.L.T. Weightloss? Don't get too, hungry, angry, lonely or tired. Take care of those four - good ones!

I spend and hour or two prep cooking/preparing/meal planning every Sunday to ensure I am ready to handle hunger if it strikes throughout the busy workweek.
If you don't plan, you plan to fail. |

I pick up canned tuna at Costco - you can get a lot of individual cans for a good price - so I'm always sure to have something in the pantry.
