Hey guys. I'm here. Doing ok. Day 3 alcohol free. Which is my biggest struggle right now. Foods good.

I went to the Dr. this morning because I've had a double ear infection for quite a while now, then I felt a lump between my ear and jaw Saturday and it really freaked me out (I'm a hypochondriac, everything is cancer in my mind. My mom is the same way lol) so I went ahead and went. She said it was my lymph nodes swollen because they have been trying to fight the infection for so long. I got a ton of antibiotics and ear drops I have to take. Also got my thyroid checked while I was there. I don't have insurance so I try not to go to the Dr. alot lol. At least it was just my lymph nodes swollen.

So this week I'm going to focus on staying AF and making sure my food is right. After TOM goes away I'll try to get back in the gym. Baby steps.

Shelly, I didn't make it to the rec center today. I forgot I had a dr appt. this morning. Maybe Wednesday.

Michelle, I hope you get feeling better.

I wasn't happy with the scales at the dr this morning but I'm not going to let that discourage me. Hopefully it was because I was fully dressed and wearing boots.

Let's all have a great week!

Jazlyn, that's totally okay cause I got to confess I just had a two day eatfest! Yesterday, dd's bday party, did okay till party time and then just went for it. Today too, because of course there was plenty of leftovers!
Tomorrow is a new day for all of us!

Back on plan today!
Michelle, congrats on the no alcohol! So glad that you're getting meds and help with the medical stuff. We changed to a cheaper plan so now we pay out of pocket for everything up to $3000. So, we are trying to not go!
For sure do baby steps to get yourself back to raring to go. You have done so well, and lost so much, I know you'll get right back to that sweet spot.
It's raining and icky here today, hope it's better where all y'all are at!

I was also not happy with the scales at the dr. yesterday morning Was also wearing sweats and my shoes but I'm using it as my starting weight for my new June 1st goal so I can take extra weight off for motivation when I weigh again lol.

I decided my goal for June 1st is going to be 50 lbs. I had got down to 204.5 last year and I want that weight again. The dr. scale said 254.5 yesterday so that's exactly 50lbs. And if I get there, I'm going to treat myself with my shoulder tattoo I never got last year.

I'm also putting $1 in a jar every day I'm alcohol free, to pay for the tattoo. Today is day 4 so I got $4 hahahahaha. This week is going to be a struggle because money has been tight and I could only afford to buy bf some specific food he eats. He's expensive, I'm cheap. I can eat a pouch of tuna and be fine. He eats a lot more than me. So I'll have to make due with what I have, which isn't much. I'm not a breakfast eater so that's 1 meal I don't have to worry about.

Let's have a successful day ladies!

Trudging along here...flu came back over the weekend and today's the first day I'm feeling human..praying I am done with sickness for a long while.

Eating has been good, still lacking on water the last few days..really need to get that up, it helps the scale move move move! Hoping to break into the 20's and be firmly planted there somewhere before the end of the month. Cannot believe that the month is half over already!

Michelle~ love your idea for the $ jar. Good way to work on two things at one time! You can do it girly!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi ladies.

Michelle, I like the money jar, I started doing one for my workouts. Every time I workout I put a dollar in. Not sure yet what I will reward myself with yet.

Dani, glad you're feeling better.

My son and hubby both have a cold. So I'm trying to get them better.

I know you've heard it before Nikki, but your before and after pictures-wow-what a transformation!
Danielle, sorry you've been sick, hopefully you'll be done with it for the year after this.
Michelle, the goal jar is a great idea. Plus an actual goal tattoo! I have thought for years about getting one. DH's best friends son is a tattoo artist, he's really talented.
Day 2 back on plan. One dayhourminute at a time.
Raining some more. Ugh!

I need to get back in the gym Nikki. There's just so much going on it's hard. Or maybe I'm just making excuses. Eh I know I will. It's just been so cold and miserable here. My waters been frozen for like a month because I live in a mobile home, so I can't take a shower at home or wash clothes or wash dishes to cook. So it kind of makes it hard to stick to my eating plan or go to the gym. It sucks. I'm ready for the spring to get here.

Omg Michelle, that does make it hard. I hope warms up enough for your pipes to thaw soon.

I think I'm going to start not only putting a dollar in for my workouts but also a dollar for every day I don't go over my daily points. Think I'm going to use the money to get some boots.

shelly, thanks. I am hoping too that I'll be all done with this. I don't think I've ever been sick like this ever in my life! Ohhhhh I would LOVE another tattoo!! You should do it

Michelle, OMG girl! You do have your work cut out for you. I can only imagine that everything is frustrating, I am so sorry honey!!! That settles things, man, if you can make some parts of your plan work with your situation I have ZERO excuses to not hold up my end. You're a rockstar chicky, I am so proud of you for trying and trying some more regardless of your situation.. Hang on, we'll all be praying for HOT weather for you!!

Nikki, love the idea for the boots! Is it totally fun to be able to shop wherever you want? I can only imagine! Have I told you how proud I am of you!

Trudging along still!! Food has been eh today...I kinda got into some chocolate instead of eating an actual lunch Nutritionally speaking I need to work on the rest of my eating for the day, caloric wise I'm ok thankfully...

Michelle, so sorry about the pipes/water issue. That sucks! Hope it does turn warm for you soon. What part of Texas are you in? My sister lives in Paradise, near Denton.
Danielle, sometimes you just gotta have the chocolate! At least you fit it into your day.
Nikki, that's a great idea with the money jar. I think my kids would figure out a way to spend mine though.

Dani, while making a Reese cake today I ate 2 mini Reese cups. They are 1 WW point each.

Shelly, I have the dollars in a mason jar hidden in my dresser drawer.

Good morning Nikki and everyone.

I have my granddaughter all weekend. I usually have Friday and Sunday off but her mom is working overtime. She's a cutie but a handful.

It's 6 degrees out and I'm already talking myself out of going to the rec center.

Well, I weighed in this morning and I didn't lose a thing, stayed the same from the week before.
I know it was my 2 day eatfest that did it! Looking forward to next week, I know I'll have a loss then.
Going to get my exercise bike off the back porch back in my bedroom, and pull out my wii fit stuff and wii just dance and get at it!
This weekend is the NFC Falcons/49'ers game, we'll be watching that, may have a few friends over, but I'm not supplying sweets!
Have a good one everybody!

No problem, I had forgotten about mine! We got a new tv for christmas in the living room, and when we hooked the wii up to it, it just didn't look that good on it. So we were planning to hook it up to our bedroom tv and just forgot about it.
I would rather do exercise in there anyway, less chance of someone seeing me!

I'm doing pretty good I guess. Haven't worked out but my food is right and last night I made 2 Miracle Rice Tuna casseroles that I will eat on. So my cals and carbs should be way low. Hopefully I won't find any money today so I won't be tempted to drink. I have none right now so I can't buy any alcohol. I already want to.

Here's my menu for today:
B-coffee, lots of coffee all day. Mostly black, but about to have a french vanilla.
L-Tuna and Spinach Miracle Rice Casserole
D-Either same as lunch or I made a tuna and green bean version of same casserole.
S-I may try Ouizoid's Tortilla recipe.

Lots of water and coffee and diet soda tonight.

Sounds like you are doing great Michelle. Just keep thinking of your reward jar when you want to drink.

I need to find a lc recipe that calls for hamburger. Off to linda sue's. (am I allowed to say that?)

Yeah Jazlyn you can mention Linda's site and link to her recipes. It's one of the only sites that they don't care if we mention.

I like to make the crust of the cheese crust pizza and just eat it without the toppings. Is that weird?

How is your boyfriend doing with his eyes? I remember a while back when he was having the surgical procedures.

Thanks!

He is doing great. He had his first transplant in April of 11, and the second last January. Actually, 1 year ago today I didn't even realize. He's doing fantastic.
