01/02 - 259.7 01/03 - 260.1 01/04 - 256.3 Ok. I seen it. After being at 249 twice, I seen 260 yesterday. It shocked me and I needed it. I knew I would gain from the New Years fiasco but wow. This is twice now I have ate off plan and seen a gain of 8 to 10 lbs in the following week. Oddly enough, in early December I had (in one day) 7 Krystals, a McRib from McDonalds, 20 chicken mcnuggets with sweet and sour sauce, french fries and a real (not diet) coke. Ate out twice that day. Dreaded the scales the next day. Much to my dismay, I lost a pound the next day and never gained from that meal at all. However I can have a piece of pecan pie or 3 slices of pizza and gain 10 lbs. My body is whacked, I swear. Anyway, been eating really good the past few days so the numbers are going back in the right direction. Glad to see that. The holidays are over so 240's here I come (again, for the 3rd time) and this time I plan to stay....well, until the 230's are knocking on my door. Terri, I havent had Hoppin John in forever. You made me crave it!!! lol Desert, like you, when I bought a new scale, mine read 10 lbs heavier. I swear they are against us sometimes lol

My highest weight was 315 lbs in February 2009, when I began to do LC. I began strict LC on April 6th 2009. On Sept. 05, 2009 I weighed in at 267 lbs - my lowest in 9 years. I have now slipped and put some weight back on.....so here I go....once again. Update: In sticking with it, I finally dropped below my Sept 5th, 2009 weight of 267 lbs on Sept 3rd, 2012. Almost 3 years to the day I'm finally back to 265 and nothing is going to stand in my way this time. I feel better than ever! |

Been a bit crazy the past couple of days. I am glad to see that my weight is down. I have been very stressed and typically this would trigger me to eat off plan or eat way too much. I did neither and was aware of the urge to eat as it was happening several times this weekend. This is a success for me.
@ Blondie- Yep, sometimes it does not make sense but I just gotta go with it as I know it will eventually come down. @Terri- Awesome job! I am awaiting the appearance of my collar bones, hopefully in the next 25lbs. @ Z-I know when I go up then I will have a good loss the next couple days. I've been dancing around it for quite some time, but I finally hit it! Now if I can keep it off during tax season, it will be a miracle. We keep fresh popcorn, cookies, and candy in our offices once we get in full swing (probably later this week)...I hope I can resist.Good to see everyone having some good losses this month. Actually, my heaviest weight was 313 back in 2008, so that is 93, but I'm only counting when I started this time, because I'm more serious now. I tell yah, this is WORKING. I used to struggle to stay on any diet because it was nothing but deprivation of my favorite things. Because I would always count fat and calories, so I couldn't have ANYTHING good and I was ALWAYS hungry and ALWAYS obsessing with what I was gonna eat and when. Then I would stick to that tough regimen, and lose NOTHING. it would CRUSH me. Low carbing has so many different options and yummy foods that you can FILL UP ON. This is SOOOO important to me. When I eat, I fill all the way up. So I CAN wait until the next day before I eat again. The combo of lower carb and fasting have been my saving grace this time. I CAN have cookies, ice cream, pizza (not every day) and it doesn't totally DERAIL me. I'm so close to the teens, I can TASTE it!! WTG Kali! Keep up the great work!! ![]()

Zay, I've found it not necessary to count fat or carbs any more but here's what I ate yesterday:
1 cheesburger pattie and 1 smoked sausage link (leftovers from dinner the day before) dipped in ketchup and mustard. The sausage is a big brat style and I slice it up into tiny discs and brown them in a skillet so they are crunchy ![]() Then, I spoon probably 3 or 4 huge tablespoons of peanut butter in the bottom of a bowl, top with probably a cup and a half of carb smart vanilla ice cream. Drizzle sugar free chocolate syrup over it. I don't measure anything and I have very GENEROUS portions. when i go back to work, I'm FULL. Lots of times I make 2 egg omelettes with lots of shredded cheese and 2 pork sausage patties. When I'm having family dinners, I serve the food, and keep moving. Washing dishes, etc while everyone is eating. THEN I put it all away and look forward to DEVOURING the leftovers the next day! ![]() |
