Snowflakes, snowflakes twirling round,
Snowflakes falling to the ground.
What a pretty sight to see,
Winter fun for you and me.
Snowflakes, snowflakes twirling round,
Snowflakes falling to the ground.

Snowflakes, snowflakes tickle my tongue.
Letís throw snowballs one by one.
Build a snowman, sled and skate.
Come outside, donít be late.
Snowflakes, snowflakes tickle my tongue.
Letís throw snowballs one by one.

Wow - 100+ blowmolds. I didn't realize you had that many. How long is your driveway? I picture them all along it - talk about lighting your way home. I like that.

To Linda about the midnight party.

I don't even know if I'll make it to midnight. Plus, like Eliza, I'm central time too. I saw the tv commercial for the Times square party/ball drop and I didn't even recognize most of the performers. Sad, when you get old and don't keep up.

Dh and I did get invited to a party here in town at an event center that has weddings and stuff. It's a byob and they are having some snacks to purchase and dancing. If it were next year, I would definitely consider it but I can't get into a fancy dress at my current size. I would not be comfortable plus I'm still recovering so next year.

Of course, leave it to me to keep posting in the old thread. LOL

Marking my spot.

Deb--pretty decorations.

We're watching the LSU-Clemson game.

Melinda--how is your ds feeling? Good job on the exercise even if it wasn't the amount you were doing, it's sure better than nothing.

Deb....your yard looks so festive!! The awful part is having to take them down. Don't you just hate that? I dread taking Christmas decorations down every year.

I am calling it a night. Hubs and I are going out for breakfast in the morning.

Chewie thank you for asking, my son is feeling better...though I told him to stop with the prune juice now.

Good Morning.. Happy New Year!!!

woke up at 4:30 am!!!! And started it right by doing some walking...and determined to beat my 20 minutes from yesterday!!!

Glad you made it home safe Lonykins and that you had a great time....

chewiegand 01-01-2013 08:23 AM

Happy New year. We stayed up till midnight, dh stayed later. I fell asleep then woke at 1:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Had a bad night of sleep.

DS18 came down about 11:30 and was acting sad all night. Couldn't figure out why. Then he told us. Most of his friends went to a party here in town and the police raided it due to alcohol. His friends are underage but there were older people there, no parents, and that's not good. I don't know what happened, will find out today but he was sad because he wasn't invited. Then when he found out about the police, he was glad. He doesn't drink but you never know.

I don't think anything makes a mother sadder than when their kids are hurting.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 12:00 PM.
