I'm back. Went to get my milk for the week---4 gallons for $8. Stopped at my fav thrift store---got 2 bags of clothes---for $6. I have them in the wash. I bought the kids some diet soda. I still want to go to Big Lots but it's way across town. It's so funny cause when we lived in CT, I drove 40 miles one way to work and now I don't want to go 10 miles. LOL Dh teases me all the time.

So I'm in the thrift store, and walking to the back and there's my dad. He's standing there like he's in outer space. I said Hey dad and he looks at me like I"m crazy. Took him a minute to realize it was me. Unbelievable. Then mil comes over and tells me about the milk deal next door. Duh!!! I know, I've been going there for months now. I guess you get crazier the older you get. roflol

Hey, Chewie, that recipe for the ranch chicken sounds good! I may try that. Can't believe you made all that food this morning. I hate having to cook more than once a day.

Glad you got clothes again. Where do you put all these clothes you buy? Or are they not all for you? How many clothes sizes are you down now? I am thinking that you could make some money putting yours in a consignment shop or selling them on craigslist.

I'm down one size in tops and maybe 2 sizes in pants--it all depends. I got 3 shirts for ds18. He likes to wear dress button down shirts to school---not really dress but nice ones, stripes, plaid. I found 2 new ones and a ls tee for him also. For me, I got 3 ls tees, a maroon cardigan and 2 black tops, one ties in the back and the other looks layered and is 3/4 sleeves. I got rid of a ton of clothes a while back so my dresser is mostly empty plus I have a big walk in closet. Plenty of room for new stuff. Plus I just love a bargain.

Quiche is one of the easiest things to make. The hash browns and sausage patties are frozen so they just go in the oven as do the Grands biscuits. Easy peasy. AND it fills them up. You know how teen boys are. Accckkkk I don't know what they're getting for lunch. Maybe it's time for them to go home. lol

Chewie... a couple of things actually a day or so ago sonny boy and i were driving to school and I asked him a lousy question about a song he was playing.. cause I don't know if your boys do this, but there is a connection he got at Best Buy where you can plug it in the radio and then play your Ipod list.. so anyway I asked him a question about the singer of the song and he said to me MOM!!! COME ON!! You just asked me that yesterday... and he said your doing that alot laterly... and it dawned on me OMG like I have the brain fart disease...I am serious.. and it's pissing off Sonny Boy alot.. LOL...I wonder if I should start downloading puzzles and stuff to do for my brain.. I am so serious...

Anyway I went to the 99 cent store.. and I scored me some Grand Biscuits.. but I am going to roll it out for tomorrow and stuff it with sugar free jam and something else....and I scored me some Trop 50 blueberry cranberry juice or something.. I really am not a juice lover...so it's for them.. which sonny boy will polish off the minute he gets up.. that's why I don't buy Juice here.. because of the sugar.. but this was the 50 percent less sugar.. limit 1 by the way.. and I scored on some Organic Heavy Cream a pint for 99 cents...I grabbed 2..and they had those beef steak tomatoes...2 huge ones for a dollar.. I keep wondering what I am going to do with those.. because they are so gorgeous.. my mother used to eat them like an apple...wondering if I should stuff one for tomorrow with egg salad or something fancy...

I ran to one of my stores for the one day ribeye sale.. 3.99 a pound.. I only bought 2 because my kid hates steak.. who hates steak?? my kid...

Chewie when you made those ranch chicken things, did you use bread crumbs??? or just the seasoning packet and did you use egg first???

Ok well I am going to finish my Sunday Meal plan and the rest of my list for Walfarts tomorrow...

My little sister doesn't like red meat. When my mom made that fabulous prime rib Christmas before last, she made my sister a pot of chicken n' dumplings just for her. Me, I lurve steak.

No bread crumbs, just the seasoning and I oiled the pan and flipped them half way through the baking. Really really good.

Melinda---I know in California everything is ridiculously expensive but you get some good deals sometimes. We NEVER get ribeye for $3.99.

That's why I go a little out of my way to get it. 4 gallons a week is a good amount of milk. Lucky I have an extra frig in my garage.

I meant to say pork and beef. I get to thinking about meat, and type to fast. I also have a couple of wild turkeys, catfish, perch, and venison summer sausage. My husband is like Phil Robertson, he lives off the land. He won't eat rabbit or squirrel so we don't have any of those. I usually have quail, but the hunt wasn't so good this year. I usually have a basement full of home grown veggies that I have canned, but it was to dry this year.

Hi again. Made the boys chicken patty sandwiches for lunch then headed out to Big Lots. They had 20% off everything today. Didn't do so great though--got some basic stuff like band aids, pepto, etc. Folded 3 loads of laundry and remade the beds with clean sheets. Then I took a nap. LOL The boys were watching the senior college game and there wasn't much to do. Now I'm having a hot cocoa protein shake cause I had quiche for breakfast. Where is everyone today? Missing Eliza and Melinda. Sue, you've been quiet too.
