I thought the book was a hard read. I stopped reading about 2/3 of the way through. Decided it really wasn't my cup of tea so to speak. Goodness, I am trying to remember how long ago that was. Perhaps 4 years ago that I gave up on that? Time flies.......

Wow. Just read a thought provoking post on a blog. The blog name is PostMasculine and the article is called You're Okay. It is a tad long. Not as long as an article in a scientific journal yet not as short as most blog posts.

Lony, you would love the Stephanie Plum books. Grandma is always packing in her purse. She got her gun at a yard sale.

How is the scarf project coming? I think I am about finished on the second go round of the Mobius scarf. I actually just knit is as an infinity scarf instead. It is hard to tell with it scrunched on the circulars but I am afraid if I knit a couple more purl sections and knit sections then it would be too wide. If I stop now, I am within two rows of being finished (including my cast off row.)

Lucky, did you get bad weather? All we got were cold, clouds and wind. Again, no precip of any kind. Ugh!

Elaine....yes I was thinking of you and got you and Lynn mixed up. I was wondering if you are having that horrible cold air or if it is north of you. Lynn lives in sunny Calif. with Melinda!!

Good morning everyone.....I am getting ready to take Eli for a hair cut. He says he is going to "visit" with the lady while she cuts his hair. I'm sure he will. He is a talker!

I think we all need one of these. It never hurts to dream a little!

Good morning. TGIF Drizzly and damp today. Bleck! I had to go pick up a print job because they didn't fix our printer this week. We get a new one on Monday anyway. I also stopped at Sam's and was just in time for the marked down meats. I got a small roast beef, some stew meat and 2 giant packs of chicken thighs. Plus I found a super nice sherpa lined hoodie for one of the boys or dh---marked down to $9.81. Woohoo. I got my Greek Yogurt and only spent $52. Pretty good. I have some horrid cramps---TOM arrived after 7 weeks and is killing me, my mood, my back and now my stomach.

Lynn....I forget. Do you live up around St. Louis?
I actually think it is going to work out for the kids with a house. They are looking again tomorrow but they found a nice one that the owners has moved out of already that they really like. Someone asked if this was Eli and Layla's mom. Yes it is. I think I am jealous. I would love a newer home like the one they want.
Have a nice evening everyone.
Why did they do it like this? Just wondering.

Deb---congrats to Steven. That's awesome. Are you glad about EKU?

Sue--enjoy that little spunky Eli! He sounds like such a happy kid.

My dh and ds18 went to Harbor Freight last night to get some kind of work bench. Then this morning, dh calls me and asks if I saw his wallet. DUH!!!! He texted ds cause he thought he left it in his truck and ds said he didn't see it. He wouldn't see it if it bit him. LOL Now I'm concerned about it. Dumb dh. Plus that made him late for work, he was supposed to go in at 9 and called me a little after 9 and was still home. Grrrrrr Pay attention!!!!!

I have to run home for 5 minutes to put away the meat I bought. It's 44 so it can't stay in my van too long.

Ok-just ran home. The matriarch of the church(older lady) was here--they're having an officer meeting and I told her about the pastor. I just don't care. I so dislike him and his ways. She told me she hadn't heard anything about getting rid of me. I said that he won't say that but he has his own agenda. I really need to start looking for something else, ready or not.

Interesting----the matriarch just told me that if I left, the church wasn't going to hire anyone to do my job. How they will do that, I have no clue. I guess the Pastor will do it all but don't know how since he's never here. She also told me she doesn't want me to leave which is nice to hear---at least someone appreciates me.

We didn't get any of the nasty weather. Now they are calling for it on Sunday. We have been really cold all week. In the teens.

Lony, if you read the books, start with One for the money. Each title has the number in it some place.

Good Morning, It's rainy and I love it...but anyway...I stopped into my old Albertsons for the ground beef sale.. and I had prayed they put out the 85/15 that was on sale.. because that store is near to my son's school...since they closed up the one near me... so I picked up a package of ground beef.. and OMG the butcher ADONIS walked up to me and asked me not to buy it.. cause it was too old...and he said wait for me I am going in the back...and I said to myself...well I wouldn't mind going back there with you. my goodness what a gorgeous man.. so he brought out his markdown stickers and marked me down some ground beef and a package of 4 giant beef ribs.... that's my breakfast and lunch...a big yummo on the butcher man!! after my crappy week and trying to resolve things, that was a nice surprise...

Sue.. It's raining today and it was yesterday too.. I love it...and hope it carries on a few more days....

I don't have the patience to read anymore....I swear..

Oh, Deb, I don't like ice storms, they do a lot of damage to tree limbs and you can lose power so quickly and then it takes forever to fix it and get it back. I hope that doesn't happen to you. Stay warm.
