DBF just gets quiet...but, he is a total diehard fan of the 49'ers...even coming from MA...going to be interesting if the 49er's play the Patriots...my kids are total Pats fans...and if that happens your son will already have gone nuts I guess..LOL...at any rate...the games will be exciting..whoever wins.

You know back in the "olden days".. (when we had a football team here).....Quarterbacks like Terry Bradshow....Roger Staubach, my favorite, Bob Griese etc etc. never would have put a knee down with 35 seconds to go.. I once saw Roger Staubach come back from 2 touchdowns behind with 33 seconds left to go.. I mean you gotta fight to the end.. that's the way I saw it.. I never ever remember anyone with any kind of time left, put their knee down.. to me they deserved to lose, SH SH SH don't tell Sonny Boy I said that..

I can even root for the Rams since Mrs Rosenberg moved them to St Louis (sorry Lucky).. so I don't have a team...I should root for the 49'ers since they are a Calif team...I don't think Joe Montana would have put his knee down with 35 seconds left.. he would have WON!!!!! LOL!

You know I have a very very very bad Dislike almost hatred of Eli Manning....I still remember when he was being drafted.. he said he didn't want to be picked by the San Diego Chargers cause he wanted to play for a winning team.. I just thought to me that was the most horrible thing to say.. I don't care...so when I see the New York Giants and they lose, that makes my day.. I couldn't believe it when I saw him say that.. it was just the most rudest, ignorant thing to say and insulting to a city.. even if you felt it you shouldn't have said it out loud. and when he went to play in San Diego for the first time, man they all got up and BOOOED him....too bad they didn't leave LOL..

These two can't make their clothes go in the laundry basket....then a few weeks later I start to find them under the table, behind the couch etc etc..

This wind is scaring the shiate out of me.. man I gotta put the TV on and see when this is supposed to end...

Deb, how about a candy bouquet with maybe a home depot gift card? Or a sucker bouquet that says 50 sucks.

Tons of pintrest ideas! A gift basket? You can make up an Italian one fairly cheap. Noodles a nice metal colander, some red white and green dish towels.

Does he drink? You could make him a beer cake.

he is the designated driver LOL he and i watch Carol and Ken get snockered and make fun of them

those are gereat ideas but i need to get a gag something that will make him laugh but the 50 suckers one is a good idea too!

first the ice than now snow and i will be out late again and Ken has to work too so he will need the 4 wheel drive cause at 3 am that hill will be bad hopefully my van will be enough and we won't be out as late as last night

Hi peeps. My internet at work went out at 10:30 so I booked out of there.

Went to my favorite thrift store and hit the mother lode. Woohoo----got ds 3 button down dress shirts, a pair of docker's cargo pants, and 2 other ls shirts. For me I found a pair of pink striped flannel pj pants, a cute ls pink tee shirt, a dress shirt for work, a black hoodie sweater made by JMS---really nice, a big whisk, a really colorful striped plate, and a set of twin sheets. My total was $19.65. Lucky it was at a thrift store cause if I had a bag that big at a department store---it'd definitely be a ton more money.

Oops==I forgot I also got 2 pair of men's flannet pj pants.

Here is what I would do...

I would get a shoe box and wrap it all pretty so the lid comes off. Then on the top of the box I would put "Old Fart Training Kit"

Fill it with
a whoopie coushion

a Rx bottle filled with blue tic tacs (we all know what those blue pills are)

A pair of sweat pants with a note that says they need to be worn under the arm pits!

Make some flash cards with old man sayings like "You kids stay outta my yard" and "Back in my day"

a nose hair trimmer..

a magnifying glass

Some thong underwear because everyone knows that is what old men wear on the cruise ships

A tee shirt with a funny saying.

What else?!

Deb! SNOW?!!! Were you supposed to get snow today? I am jealous!!! If the snow keeps up you had better listen to Ken and not go. As you said, it is onlythe second practice and not like the night or two before the actual performance. Do they have a website for you to check to see if it will be cancelled, or better yet, will they post it on TV? Like school closings? They do that here for evening events.

True, true! I am in a pickle though. I have always liked the 49ers and Falcons. I shall be rooting for the Falcons though because of Tony Gonzales. He deserves to be playing in a Super Bowl.
