Good evening! I don't get to say that too much. I had to go to bed very abruptly this morning as I was playing around on my computer. I just got so sleepy I started to fall asleep at my desk. So since I went to bed so early I woke up early. Plus my hips are hurting. =/

I have two appointments in the morning. Physical therapy and then to see my regular doctor--a follow up visit from the whole high blood pressure/ER visit.

Awwww, Mona, I am sorry that your hips are hurting. I know what you mean about falling asleep. That has been happening to me the last few months. I will be on the computer or reading and then, Wham, falling asleep. Like someone flipped a switch Good luck at your appointments tomorrow. Hope the BP is normal again!

Deb, what about a homemade goodie for Ken's friend. I always think something that can be consumed, since most of us don't need anything else sitting around. Or maybe a gift certificate to a restaurant or a local butcher shop. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, you know. Or maybe a picture album and take pictures at the party for him and print out for his album.

Deb, the only thing that I could come up with would be a book of some sort. What is he interested in? Find a nice book for that area, or his favorite author, etc. My dh got the National Geographic National Parks book and dvd for Christmas from my parents because we want to visit them. My dh wants to do Yellowstone this year and I want to do Mt. Rushmore. So, maybe something like that? As in a really nice pictorial and informational book on an area of interest to him.

Good morning. The church has a funeral at 11 and then a lunch so I'm out of here as soon as it starts. I don't know the deceased but I do know the family and don't want to chance being invited to lunch. Plus I want to go to my fav thrift store and they're only open today and Saturday. And get the $2 a gallon milk. My kids are going milk crazy. We went through 4 gallons last week.

Sue I don't think the cold affects them. It's not like arthritis. My physical therapist said it's not the bones that are the problem but some of the small muscles that hold my pelvis together. I don't think the pain will get any better until I strengthen my pelvic muscles. That could take weeks or months....I dont know. I'm supposed to be doing my core exercises every hour when I'm awake. Know how many times I've done them since my first appointment? zero. I just never think about it. And at work I'm so busy I can barely stop for a bathroom break much less do my exercises. That medicine I was taking was an anti-inflammatory and it was working wonders...but then I got a trip to the ER and an itchy rash. So I dunno, I guess I will manage somehow.

OMG I just started rolling as soon as I read that. I know you weren't joking but I had this vision of myself flying backwards off the ball. haha. Yea, I've heard those are good for strengthening the core muscles.

Hahaha well that can happen , but seriously....You can sit with your legs out to the side and bounce while you play on the confuser. It is also good for the back and tummy. Just an idea. I would so do it if I had somewhere to put one!!

LOL and i let him play hooky today he had nothing going on at the HS cold and slick out there so everyone here is still in their jammies watching monty python

ETA i make a football cake every year for the superbowl party this year i am going to find my easter egg pan and make mini footballs for the kids too

Good Morning Everyone.. it is windier than anything here and I hate the wind and I fear the wind.. please go away....

We woke up late. I take my son to school at 6:43 no later than 6:46... I woke up at 6:55 and run to my son's room and said well I think we are late.. not late for school but late in getting up.. so but I still got him to school by 7:25 instead of the usual 7:00.. not bad...but it sure throws me off all day...

I am going to make Trader Joes Mandarin Chicken and Rice a Roni fried rice and Trader Joes Asian veggies....that's what's on the menu...

Linda....I think the pants are going to be retired as it is warming up here.. yesterday this time we were at 33 degrees and right now 61... and it's not even 9:30.. so we are going to warm up today.. so no more pants, it's just too much clothes for me to wear.. and I feel like I am in restraints.... just my socks and slippers and my long night shirt with long sleeves...are you getting excited for the Ravens game????

I know I am bracing myself..unless he goes to Matt's house....I swear when I saw the first playoff game with him, he was downright mean my kid.. and I told him, than he told his dad, Hey Pops mom said I was mean, and she was getting bent out of shape.. then last week Pops experienced it and told me never again am I watching a football game with him...he says he is a mean know it all!!
