The article was saying that the fruit crops were probably ok.. but that the Mandarin oranges may have suffered some....

NSV: I have a new cute blouse on that has not fit before.

I have my surgeon appt today---it's 6 weeks today. I'm very interested in my loss so far. I've been staying off my scale at home. I do feel thinner and have had dh and evil MIL say I look a lot thinner.

OMG I was organizing all the paperwork on my desk and I found 2 rebates for a total of $50 that I forgot to mail by the postmark date. I feel horrible. I might as well have flushed 50 bucks down the toilet.

So, tonight is pizza night. Should be interesting. Going to make regular pizzas for the boys and dh and making Cleo's chicken pizza crust. I hope I can eat a small piece.

I'll give you a review after I make it. I'm also making eggplant parmigiana too just in case I can't eat the pizza. I love eggplant.

We finally got ds's first semester grades. I'm not real thrilled but he was working way too much. He got 3 B's and 1 A. He only took 4 courses because he ended up having to drop one due to a schedule conflict. He has to maintain a B average to keep his scholarship. Luckily, that's for a year so he can bring it up and keep it. He better. He's taking 5 classes this time and he starts today. He even got all dressed up with khakis, a button down shirt and his pea coat. He said he wanted to make a good first impression. LOL

I made her chicken crust pizza....for me it was weird.. but you are a fabulous delicious cook..so I am sure yours will turn out very good...

Congrats Chewie. I do love those NSV when it happens with clothes.. well my ultimate favorite 3 years ago was being able to fit in the seat belt...but congrats....may you have a zillion more...

Thanks for the complement. I'm hoping since it's so high in protein, it'll work into my plan. I need to eat protein first so I have to skip out on regular crust.
Someday I will be able to eat a little more and more variety too. It's just too soon.

I totally agree one million percent.... but my kid didn't listen to me...so good luck to yours.. it makes my insides hurt..then hubs says listen he is going to be 18 years old and he will be an adult.. you can't make those decisions.. you have to have faith.. but I am a Practical human being and it just makes me nuts...I have had a few conversations about with Sue....Lony....my kid won't listen..

Mmmmmm Artichoke dip!

Ingredients
14 ounce can of artichoke hearts
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
Directions
Drain and chop the artichoke hearts in a small bowl. Mix all of the remaining ingredients together with the artichoke hearts. Spread the mixture into an 8x8-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let stand for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve with your favorite dippers.
