Deb, check the cake section at walmart. They have printable DIY invites that look like you bought them at a fancy store. All you need is a printer.

No not yet...and he is dying...he said to me now Mom if anything comes from those 7 schools.. I am telling you don't open it.. I want to open it LOL.. I thought to myself wow.. that would have been something he would have said when he was 2 years old..know what I mean???

We haven't completed Fafsa yet.. I told hubs your going to have to help him, I don't get it...so hopefully when he comes home tonight, him and his dad can sit down and figure it out.. you know I asked him last night to email to our email address the questions so I can have them.. to start on them early..but he didn't...and you know that is going to be my fault LOL!

Melinda....from a mother of 3 kids who had rings I can tell you NONE of them wears it. They haven't for yrs. It's one of those things many of them want and think they have to have and then they put it away. In fact my DD wore mine when she was in grade school I think. Don't feel bad about it.

Lony....Poor Fred!!!!!! These are the times you wish he was a cat that pooped in a litter box!

Melinda...it was on the new awhile ago that up in the mountains around LA there would be snow and the HOLLYWOOD sign will have snow on it also they said. How far from the mountains are you?

I actually live real close to the mountains.. but not the ones with the snow.. but what's really really really pretty is that on the far off mountains, you can see way in the distance, (if my glasses are on), you can see the snow.. it's gorgeous....We are going to have Artic air blowing in.. which eventually makes it way to you guys.. so you guys may have snow yet... they are saying the coldest days of winter is coming...so I can't wait to see the mountains in the distance.. the ones close to me have no snow ever..

By the way thanks Sue.. made me feel better.. just feel terrible I can't do much for that kid...

OK I am off to see TMZ and figure out dinner.. even though the boss isn't up yet.. he bought Bagels, from Western Bagels... don't know if it's out you guys way.. but the good thing I don't like bagels so I didn't touch them and he bought some funky cream cheese with funky like veggie bits in it bleck..

Melinda....the mountains that are far off. How far are they? I can't believe you don't go see them!!!!! I love the mountains. Give me a cabin and mountains and I would be one happy girl.

The mountains that I live next to are the ones they put roads thru to get to other cities...the ones that you visit that have cabins are quite a ways from me..I have been to Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, but not during winter time..it's pretty dangerous up there if you don't know what to do in it....when its snowing.,.,they close roads up there and everything.,,I guess you would need snow chains and we have no idea what to do with those...you always see on the news, where they give you a list of requirements you need it's nice up there in the spring and summer,,,had the best ice cream ever in Arrowhead..

I was going to say this same thing. I wasn't very social in school and didn't have any friends. Didn't go to parties. I don't know why I thought I "needed" a class ring. Where the heck was I going to wear it? But I got one and it's sat in my jewelry box for 30+ years.

Good morning. I got up early and started chores right off.

I got the laundry going, got the paperwork together, not sorted but all together. Took ds to football, got him a sausage mcmuffin & sweet tea for breakfast. Now I'm at work. I still have to go to the bank and either Aldi's or walfarts. Bleck. My tree is still up so that's a project for today. At least I should get all the ornaments off. I'd like it done and gone by Sunday.

Well it is a chilly morning here in Buffalo. The wind is blowing 40 MPH and it is snowing like crazy. You can't really tell because it is all drifting. Today is a great day to hunker down and stay warm. haha

We stocked up so we don't have to go anywhere today

Now I just have to keep the hubs from going stir crazy
