It took my car 7 times to finally start this morning..and that is not my car..and it's been colder in the morning and it still started...when I got home, I turned off the car and started and it started fine..so I think tomorrow I better take it into the mechanic so I can charge another 300 or more..grrrrrr...

Tonight my son is playing his tenors at the basketball game....grrr it is always something I swear......

Lony, if you practice for your mammogram by slamming your boob in the freezer a few times before you actually go in, I have heard it helps your prepare yourself. I haven't tried it, but I have read it on the internet. Just saying....

Just made ds his annual apt for eye exam to get his contacts in two weeks and youngest her appt to get her braces put on in Feb. Still haven't scheduled my mammogram......

luckily one of the vehicles i was complaining about being down was Ashleys
and in a major emergency i could use my van we just didn't want iit to get damaged any more than it already is before we fix it
and if all else fails i could be stylin in Steven's caballero IF i could remember to keep gas in it!
i guess there is an advantage to having a bunch of old junkers around

Deb, yes I could get a ride from my kids, and I have friends who live close to me that I could ask for a ride, if the shop lets me know in time. I just hate to ask anyone to go on these icy country roads, but I know they would do it.

Ok I am back. LOL Lucky you are so funny!!

It was not bad at all, they had a heating pad on the plates before I got there and the lady was super nice. We talked and joked the whole time.

Fingers crossed she said she did not see much. The radiologist reads them tomorrow and they will let me know. She was thrilled that my boobs were so saggy, I guess that makes them easier to do I dunno.

Lony, sounds like you may have gotten a good report. I know the technicians can't tell you anything, but I think sometimes they know more than the DRs.

The lady I got had been doing mammograms for 30 years. She was so awesome, I was not uncomftorable or nervous with her. When I was leaving I told her that I was glad she was my first. We both busted a gut laughing!

My kids used to hate this little song when I would come in singing it as I would shake



This brings back memories of waking the boys up for me.......I was told if you make their brains wake up the body will follow. So I used to go in their room - pretty much talking gibberish - as in 'you know that kid across the street was up all night - wonder what he was up to' or 'grandma called and wanted to know what you wanted for your b-day or Christmas' kept on talking - and would leave the room............usually worked too. Eliza - have you heard of the book 'The Plan' by Lyn-Genet Recitas? I caught a little of Dr Oz today - really different look at reactive foods that could be causing you not to lose weight. I need to read more about it. Probably just another 'diet' to try and then discard. Even veggies can be reactive to you. What I saw was interesting though.

Wow I just got home! I am late for bed. After my appointment was over I had to go get my meds, and get gas. Was just too much to cram in. If I was smart I would've driven over to the pharmacy to get my meds while I waited 2 hours for my appt. But I was too lazy to drive across town, then back again for my appt. Sometimes I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
