Good morning. DS14 is back to school. Early mornings again.

Dinner was nice at MILs. Dh did have to tell her to stop though about me and my not eating or drinking. She kept offering all kinds of nonsense stuff. I had 2 shrimp, a tablespoon size of tilapia and a deviled egg. That's about it for me to eat at one time.

Good for you. That's the one I wanted but dh got me an omron pedometer. It also plugs in and tracks all sorts of stuff. I haven't even really looked at it yet. Anything that will motivate is a winner in my book.

Cut it with coffee or water. Yes, it's more to drink but you'll still get your protein in and won't waste it.

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.'

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?'

She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a
youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.'

The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,

'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair

Kcmama, I am sorry your girls didn't like their scarves.

It is a chilly morning here in Buffalo. I just checked and we are going to get snow this weekend with a high of around 10. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

I go this morning at 10 for my mammogram. I guess it is time for me to start getting them every year anyway. Mike is going to Billings for a few days so it will just be me and the animals. Thank goodness I am feeling better so I can get some cleaning and organizing done!
Why have you not been going yearly? Just curious.

So in an effort to get all my protein in, today I made a new shake: cappucino mixed with milk and heated in the microwave. It is so sweet---bleck. I'm trying to get it down just so as not to waste it but I have to sip water in between each sip of it. Bleck!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad it was only a sample. Wouldn't buy this one.
