Ashley called and woke me up at almost 11 i FORGOT the parade and i LOVE parades

ken and i were playing SUper Mario 3 and that darned retro thing conked out AGAIN!

been watching youtube videos of how to take our old NES system apart and either clean it or change out the 72 pin connector LOL oh yeah soo now we are going to try to be tech geeks?/ all for the love of Super Mario!
glad everyone that way under the weather seems to be feeling better! and glad Miss tipsy pants got home ok in that blizzard! and ya need to try the caramel vodka!

Sue i can not get that photobucket to switch back! but it seems to be keeping me signed in now??

Goodness it is 12 noon here.. And it's 37 degrees! In Southern Cal! Cause the heater is broken

I have unsweetened cocoa powder that i make hot chocolate with.

I made my boy nutella pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes....but he is still sleeping..

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. What will 2013 bring..........

Got all my 2012 paperwork/bills/receipts/financial out of the files, all ready for 2013 to be filed. Now to go through it and get it organized for filing the dreaded taxes. Hate that job.

Got my kraut and meats going - smells so good. About time to put make the dumplings and get them cooking.

I completely forgot about the parades. How could I do that? We rarely turn the tv on in the mornings. Love to watch them.

Mona - sleep well and wake up with a clear head - hopefully dh got the pants dried and you'll be good to get dressed for work.

Hi Melinda, Lony, Chewie, Sue, Lucky, Eliza - all your lovely gals.

Off to deal with dumplings.........

I finally got to watch some of the parade today. I loved seeing the Pazz family get reunited and then the float for the canine heroes---honoring military working dogs.

I ended up having to take a pain pill---my back was killing me. Then it made me sleepy so my sweet dh told me to go back to bed for a nap. I got up and feel so much better----PTL.

It's smells so good in here. Dh decided to cook chili for tomorrow and that's bubbling away and the hopping john is also bubbling on the stovetop too. That has hog jowls in it and all kinds of veggies and spices. YUMMMM

It's only 30 now and going into the 20s. Plus it's wet so tonight the roads will be pretty nasty. I'm glad we have nowhere to go.

I do have work tomorrow though. No biggie, it's close by.
