Got my chores done early this afternoon - now - what to have for dinner. While I like leftovers - the thought of corned beef and cabbage just isn't offering any appeal. Not surprising - sitting here listening/watching the cooking channel. Wonder how many people actually make those meals. Love watching - but rarely make any of them. Same with cookbooks. Love looking through them - marking the ones I want to try - and then I end up doing the same old recipes most of the time. Those that I do try - never really live up to their appeal. Am I the only one?

Morning All!

Chilly morning at the bus stop as the wind was blowing. Naturally, the bus was late!

I have managed to finish two books, Cry of the Outcast and Proof of Heaven. Am now reading An Extraordinary Gathering of Angels. Dh took my Our Lady of Kibeho book and surprisingly is liking it. Also had to unravel my Mobius scarf that I knitted for my daughters as they both thought that it was too skinny. They want it wider. Luckily, I have another hank of the same yarn. I knit on circulars so there were 152 stitches per round--24 rounds total. Now will have to do more rounds but how many is the question as this is a longer scarf that they double around their neck. Hmmmm

Oh, who is it that crochets here? Was it you Lucky? My dad made my sister and I aprons for Christmas. They were so cute! They look like Santa's outfit. We wore them to serve dinner in as we didn't want to get them dirty cooking. I shall see if I can get a photo to send to Lony to post for me.

Little over an hour to go, then I get to wait around town until 9:30 for my first physical therapy appointment--for the bursitis in my hip). I brought my coupons with me and some scissors. That should keep me busy for awhile. The first weekend of January always has the BEST coupons and lots of them! I think it's to make up for the fact that half my stash expired on 12/31.

It is a chilly morning here in Buffalo. I just checked and we are going to get snow this weekend with a high of around 10. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

I go this morning at 10 for my mammogram. I guess it is time for me to start getting them every year anyway.

Mike is going to Billings for a few days so it will just be me and the animals. Thank goodness I am feeling better so I can get some cleaning and organizing done!

I found if I eat some yogurt with my pill it makes my tummy lots better. I don't know why yogurt helps when nothing else does.

But I will take any relief I can.
