Green Magma or like products are green looking powders. You can mix it in with your shake or water. As I said, it tastes like grass clippings but a good way to get some nutrition in.

Also maybe green smoothies with real leafy greens should be easy to drink/ingest, there are tons of recipes online. Can you have blended fruit?

I guess. I'm not really sure. My book from the clinic says no fresh fruits or veggies till 3 months out. I guess I should call and ask. My friend did say once I can eat those, I will feel energy surges right away. But on lc, I didn't eat much fruit--yes, I did eat veggies though. Wonder if it can make that much difference?

She said that was normal and I feel better. I know if I say anything to my surgeon, he's going to tell me to EXERCISE. Yes, I know I need to do that but I'm so tired. Grrrrr How do you balance it all out? I'm having a hard time getting in all my protein and there just seems like the hours in a day run out and it's time for bed.
Just do the best you can Chewie. I'm not exactly the poster child for compliance. I have never formally exercised except for the 3 months before my surgery when they made me. I don't count my protein either. I spent a small fortune on protein powders too, and they are still sitting in my cupboard a year later. My labs are fine so I think I'm doing OK. My biggest issue is just eating too many carbs for weight loss at this point.

Hope you feel better and more energetic soon.

I hope the green powders are allowed. You only use a tablespoon at a time, but it's packed with nutrition.

It runs expensive but the servings are so small it lasts a loooooooong time. I have a tub sitting in my fridge right now, but I admit I rarely use it because of the taste. I'll send you one more link for the one I have. Very well reviewed, too. 356 reviews, 4.5 stars.....

Cooked a quick lunch and sorted the laundry plus started a load. One thing I'm learning as a new cat owner is.....make sure you click the door and firmly close it when you go to the bathroom, or your curious cat will push his way in and proceed to stare at you while you are in the process....and you can't move to kick him out. Then he will try to play with you and you still can't move. What an experience!

My cats both demand to be let in the bathroom when I'm in there. I don't know why they think it's so fun. I have a wide gap under my bathroom door and my cats can get about half their head under the door. It's the funniest thing. They pull at the door with their feet and head butt it and stuff.

OK girls I'm off to bed. Have a good weekend!

Megafood vitamins are awesome. They are made from food. I use the one daily multi without iron...since I don't need the iron anymore. Then again, I also take bioton, calcium, magnesium, D3, COQ10, cod liver oil, flax oil, quercetin, vit. C, olive leaf extract and um..I think that's it..but, I could be wrong..

How exciting. I don't know if you were reading/posting a lot but my ds's team has been undefeated for 2 years now---both as 8th graders and this year as freshmen.

It cracks me up when I see a cat paw under the door. My openings at the bottom are pretty small but they can fit a paw.

I put barley grass powder in smoothies also...just a different brand...with coconut water, a tablespoon of coconut oil, (cause I have already had some in my coffee in the morning), greek yogurt and pumpkin spice...honestly..it is good... I keep a glass in the freezer to pour it in..it tastes best cold..

I just made the kids chicken patty sandwiches. I only had 7 patties left but the rolls are huge so they put 2 on a roll with cheese, ketchup or mayo. My older ds wasn't very hungry so he ate only one. Now I think it's naptime.

They asked if the kids could stay another night. I don't really care but I don't even know what I'm cooking for dinner yet. I need to figure that out and soon. lol
