Good morning. This week has been a hard one for me. Maybe it was cause dh was on vacation? I don't know but I'm glad it's Friday. I have been the biggest slug ever. LOL Dh is back to work today and ds14 has a buddy sleeping over. I need to get a meal plan together and some goals for the weekend/year.

thinking about theses too i already have shredded chicken
1 pkg cream cheese (8oz)
1 pkg crescent rolls (6 ct) (note, you can also use TWO packages of regular sized crescents)
2 shredded, cooked chicken breasts
1.5 C grated chedder cheese
1 C grated Monterey Jack
1/4 t salt
1/4 t pepper
bread crumbs
1/4 stick melted butter
Combine chicken, cheeses, salt and pepper. Spoon onto crescents. Roll them up making sure they are sealed around the chicken mixture. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. To reheat, just place in a 325 degree oven for 15 minutes.

Chewie am making white chili and have cube steak in the crockpot thinking of mashing some potatoes too it is coold and dk COMFORT FOOD IS VERY APPEALING TOday gah caps lock needs moved!

Sue, don't know how I missed this. Many . Everything will be OK! I agree, maybe you need to go with her or call her doctor. Maybe it's time. If she is due soon, they could induce her right away.

Deb, those crescent chicken rolls sounds wonderful!!
Eliza....My SIL is going with her next time. She goes back Tuesday. Nana here still feels uneasy but at some point you have to just trust in God. DD says all is fine. Layla is moving as she should be. The dr. told her her heartbeat is good and strong. I just can't wait to get that little chubby cheeked doll in my arms.
Mona...I have everything up also. Now we just need to take the containers to the garage. Of course I am sure after it is all put up I will find some little something I missed. I seem to do that each year!!

Oh....I have my daddy's sweater I have saved and mama's little stripped jacket she wore just about everywhere. In fact the last time I saw her I took her picture and she had it on. Anyway....I finally have found someone who makes teddy bears out of clothing. I'll have to save some money back but I want to have a couple made. I "thought" about doing it myself (which would be a ton cheaper) but then I think OMG what if I goofed it all up!! This lady also make little Christmas ornaments from clothing. Those I could make.

Chicken Thighs with Artichoke Hearts and Feta Cheese
Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes
Servings: 6 • Size: 1 med thigh with artichokes • Old Points: 2 pts • Points+: 3 pts
Calories: 107.4 Fat: 2.8 g • Carb: 4.1 g • Fiber: 1.7 g • Protein: 16.6 g

Ingredients:
6 skinless boneless chicken thighs, excess fat removed
6 oz jar marinated artichoke hearts
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp oregano
1/4 cup feta cheese
2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
salt and fresh pepper
Directions:
Combine artichoke hearts along with liquid and chicken and let it marinade about 20 minutes or longer. After it's marinated, drain all liquid, add garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.

Broil on low about 6 inches from the flame for about 10 minutes or until golden brown, turn chicken and cook an additional 8-10 minutes and chicken is fully cooked. Top chicken with feta and broil an additional minute. Remove from oven and top with fresh oregano.

if you don't lke feta( I LOVE it) you could use any cheese you lke

How many years have you lived there? Surprising this is the first time it's happened. I had that problem when the corn fields are high. Hated those cross roads that only 1 way stopped. Country living is different - that's for sure.

Our son is taking us also, since my dh can't drive anymore because of early macular degeneration. You have a long way to go for the surgery though - I only have to go about 25 miles.

Same here with the German Shepherds - Duke is 11 and Nicky is 10. I hate that they are so close in age. DS will have a hard time losing either one of them - and now - me too.........they do get under your skin. Hate to even think of them passing and what the one will do without the other. I hate banks/bankers/loan people/realtors..........last night - they made us sign another paper saying we could/would close by 1/31/13.............and something just bothered me about it..............but we did sign - and faxed it off to all............then this morning I got curious and was looking through the file - and sure enough - same paper - we signed it back in November...why can't they just do their jobs? In the meantime the house is sitting there empty...........they are taking the joy out of the house - and I'm not even in it yet. I plan on telling anyone that too- lol - when/if we ever do sign the final papers - after we sign. I am so tired of this - get my hopes up - then they get dashed, etc then all over again.

Ok - I'm over it.........off to check on my stinky cabbage.

Linda, we have lived here 37 years and there have been two other wrecks. It was not a cross road, it was a 90 degree corner. We own the road, but we do not own the land on either side so we can't make it bigger. One side is a cemetary. They gave us enough land on the other corner so we could get a semi in and out. The road was bought in horse and buggy time and we don't have any other access. I'll be praying for you Tuesday.

Back from the stores. Right now I'm cooking up some chicken breasts for DH and I. I found some neat cheesy kaiser rolls in the clearance bakery bin and I thought it would make a good chicken breast sandwich. I'll put some cheese on there and some lettuce and call it a meal.

I was sort of stressing to get home by noon. When I was out and about the fence guy called and said he could come over to give us a bid on some fence repairs we need. Since I've been trying to arrange this for weeks I didn't want to pass up an opportunity. Made it home with 10 minutes to spare! Went to Catherines and they had one shirt in 2X but the other 2 shirts she just gave me credit for and I will have to order online again. It's nice fitting into a 2x! I will have to order pants online too. They didn't have any slacks with pockets. Catherine's is so hit-or-miss every time I'm in there.

Linda I'm so sorry to hear they are making you jump thru hoops with your house deal. Hope it's over with soon and you can move into your own place!

Eli and I went to the store earlier. They have those carts with police cars and such for the kids to ride in. He had a ball and had to talk to everyone we passed.
