Down 1 pound ... hoping for more but thankful for 1. Only did 4,100 steps today (too many meetings) + 1 mile walking tape (15 minutes) and eating was on plan.
Thanks Susan ~ What did DH pick for dinner? Lady |

Good morning!
Cindy, you walked, which us all that matters (hugs). And, DH picked a local BBQ place. I had sliced pork and a side salad. I also went off plan and had a small baked potato. Oh well. Today's fashion: My mom, sis and nieces are coming over for a belated BD celebration. The theme is Italian, so I want to wear their flag colors somehow. Today's food (still on prednisone for my asthma) coffee w/ trimmings, eggs, bacon Veggies and stuffed jalapenos Linda's White Castle Pie |

I was hoping to get lucky and go below 200 for my birthday today. Not happening, apparently ...
But I do have a nice variety of LC foods ready for the party tonight! Buffalo chicken stuffed jalapenos, bacon stuffed tomatoes, sliced vegetables, artichoke-spinach dip with sliced veggies, sugar-free cheesecake stuffed strawberries, sliced sausage rounds with mozzarella and red pepper ... lots of finger foods so people can talk and wander around while they're eating. If I have time before the party starts, I might whip up some curried deviled eggs too. In the past I've tried so many "healthy" diets that left me hungry all the time ... I'll never stop being amazed at how many tasty things you can have eating low-carb, and still lose weight without ever being hungry! |

Hi Everyone! Love this thread. I would like to be in a size 18 jeans. 18W is all I ask. I've been in the 20s for so long. A very tight 22. Heck normally I wear so many stretchy clothes I don't know what my size is. My goal is to do it by July 1!

Good morning everyone.
I've been MIA since I went to help my dad. I gained 8 lbs. I didn't walk on the beach once. It rained a lot and I have no excuse for the sunny days. I've lost 3lbs since I got home. One pair of my 18s are way tight but 2 other pair are comfortable. I really want to be in a 14 by July. I need to get my butt in gear. |

Another busy day. Wearing a black shirt with sparkly beading around the neck. I haven't been able to wear it for years - maybe a little tight around the waist but it is falling off my shoulders and grey dress pants.

OH my!!! I have been MIA since Valentines! So sorry... my life gets hectic sometimes! I love reading everyone's posts. I went to an Endocrinologist this week... waste of time and money! Anyway... I'm on plan and my blood glucose is lower than it has been in a long time! And... I am down to 261! I think that is a 7lb loss since I last posted. I will be glad to meet a mini goal of being in the 250's.
Breakfast: turkey sausage, 1 egg Lunch: Ham/salami/cheese sandwich w/ lettuce and 1 slice lo carb bread Dinner: Fish, Green beans. One benefit of one of my meds is that it curbs hunger and I am having a very hard time getting in protein snacks which i need to regulate sugar. What a love/hate/sick & twisted relationship with food i have!!

Ladies I would
to join this challenge. I am all about losing weight but what makes me more giddy is thinking about getting into a smaller size and not having that dreaded muffin top and feeling life a stuffed sausage in my clothes. My goal for July 4th would be to be wearing a size 14 comfortably without feeling like the above mentioned. Good success to everyone and I will drop in daily if possible to encourage and get encouragement. ![]() |

Happy Thursday ~ feeling off today and I have no idea what to wear to work. I have a crazy busy day and I'm getting ready to have 4 days off or I would almost consider taking today off. Considering I haven't taken a sick day in the 6 years since I have worked there - that gives you an indication of how I am feeling.
Body is still sore, yesterday was 6,584 steps + 1 mile walking tape. You are welcome Susan ~ I think we need to having a shopping visit and you can be the fashion consultant. Back Tammy and on being down 7 lbs. Maggie ~ Looking forward to getting to know you.Lady ~ Glad that you are starting to feel better.

Thank you ladies for the warm welcome I am sooo tired of my pants being tight that I can't stand. I am peri-menupausal so I get the bloaties and it isn't fun.
Feeling quite bloated today and hope it passes soon. It is nice to know that some of you ladies have fashion sense, I have none. I am a stay at home wife and mother and jeans and a casual blouse I am more at home in. I mean I look nice when I do dress up and hubby says I do clean up nice. I have a goal to get into a new outfit for Easter so I need to eat clean and keep my mind in the right place and that is exercising(I walk on my treadmill at the moment) and eating right to lose. Looking forward to getting to know you all. |

Good job on the gym Jazly. I don't particularly like the gym or exercise either. I have been going with my friend to the gym during my lunch hour. The gym in our work building has a movie cardio room. So I can walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes and watch a different movie every day make the time go by fast and doesn't suck so bad - lol.
Menu today: B: Sausage & egg L: Hamburger, w/sauted onion and mushroom and cole slaw D: Steak and salad S: Baked Chicken |

Entire post ... gone
![]() ![]() ![]() When oh when will my computer be back. Okay, weekend off was fabulous. Heart was amazing - they still have it after all of these years. Eating was okay. Lots of walking on Saturday, 9,741 steps. Drinking was not so good. Very disappointed in the fact that there was no change on the scale when I weighed on Friday and kind of expecting it to be up this week. I have an event this weekend and I'm thinking I'm going to go shopping on Friday and see if I can find something new. Thanks Susan ~ It would not only be great having your help shopping, it would be great to meet you. Magie ~ Have you thought about what you are going to buy for your new Easter outfit? Jazlyn ~ Nothing is wrong with you, lots of people don't like the gym. How did it go the second time? Monica ~ I would love the recipe for the Enchilda Bake, it sounds ![]() |
