Ok this morning WATP 1 mile! I feel great. So my goal is to do this 3x a week and PROGRESS from there.
I only weigh once a month and at my last weigh in I lost 2 lbs. BUT my current wardrobe is officially too big. SO that proves the conclusion that you shrink more on low carb diets and tend to be smaller at higher weights. It looks like I only lost 2lbs for the entire month, but I am much smaller than the scale reflects! THIS is why I refuse to weigh more than once a month. I used to let that darn scale kill me and keep me in a tizzy!!! Now, I see more clearly that as long as I continue to shrink that scale can say whatever it wants too! Cindym: I like Leslie too! That salmon sounds devine! I just might have some today! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Well, I'm up 3.5 pounds from last Friday and I know exactly why! I have been allowing myself little cheats here and there. I'm not fooling myself - that is not ever going to work. I have recomitted and have started adding in exercise. I am deterimined to reach my February goal of 235. Which didn't seem impossible before at 238.5 but now at 242 seems tough. I have 16 days left and I am going to work my butt off!

I hope nobody minds if I join in I need support more than ever. I am a long time LCF and thought I was on the winning end of weight loss but I have gained some weight back and am struggling to get it off.
I took off half my body weight but have put 50 pounds back on. I could not live on the strict weight loss clinic diet forever. I have joined weight watchers and in 3 weeks have lost about 6 pounds. I am happy with that because I have not felt deprived. I would like to be in a size 12 by July 4th. I have all the great summer clothes but can't fit in to them. I own 12 bathing suits and only 2 fit right now. I want to kiss these 18 good bye and never get back to them!

Hi everyone! I hope it's okay to jump in and post here. Everyone seems very encouraging and kind. Today is my 3rd day of back to a low carbing lifestyle and i'm down 3 lbs. I have no idea what size I want to be or would be by July... possibly an 18 - I'm currently in 22/24s now. My huge goal right now is to be under 200 by the end of summer. (and to get off some diabetes meds).
Breakfast: Lo-carb/protein shake Lunch: Salad w/ grilled chicken Snack: Beef snack bites. Dinner: Pork centers and broccoli w/ cheese I did not make it to the ymca today but will aim for tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. So I ate good yesterday but only did about 15 exercise.
Today starts Lent so I will be eating no processed food and that means no food outside of the house. I also added 100 miles during Lent this year so I have to get 100 miles of exercise in during the 40 days of lent. 2.1 Miles each day. Shouldn't be to hard really just have to make sure I work at it every day. Today's menu Weight Watchers Points 27 Breakfast: Banana and yogurt Snack: Butternut squash soup Lunch: Cajun Chicken and Vegetables Snack: Cheese and Celery Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad I'm hoping to see the scale move finally!! |

![]() So glad to have you guys join us! 2f2f: I HATE when that happens to me! I usually only eat 1 or 2 meals a day. I just naturally have fallen into an IF pattern of eating. So when I do eat, I want what I want LoL! That means whatever I made for myself!!!! Gonna get off of this computer and do my WATP vid. I really find myself liking this video. I ate some spaghetti squash today, and it was sooooo good. It is a bit on the carby side for a veggie, but I limited it to one cup. I do fine eating some higher carb veggies every once in a while. Everyone have a wonderful Valentine's day! |

Happy Sunday ~ Working today. Things have not been great as I had shared and I hadn't caved to the food but I did and was rewarded with a 2 pound weight gain.
Home computer is fried again and because our office is moving, the IT guy will not have time to look at it until beginning of March and the tickets for a concert we are going to on March 9th were on the desk top, hadn't printed them yet and didn't back up computer because I didn't think I needed to because they were networked. Anyway, now I'm trying to figure out how to get them. Really it does seem like it has been one thing after the other ![]() ![]() How did everyone do on Valentine's Day? Ok everyone what does your menu for the week look like? How are your plans for that great new size going?
I am working out and need to add some weight lifting to make that size happen. Food is good since once I am on plan I stick to it. Menu: Breakfast: I didn't make egg casserole yet for the week 3 oz grilled chicken 1/2 wrap 4pp snack: orange Lunch: Taco soup, FF cheese and sour cream 6pp snack: carrots 2T humas 2pp Dinner: egg plant parm and spaghetti squash 8pp Snack:? I need to do more cooking tonight but the week is looking great. |

Weight loss has come to a screeching halt! I’m still determined to stick to my eating and exercise – I’m sure my body will finally decide to get rid of some of that fat – hopefully sooner than later.

Another good day. Eating on plan, 6,901 steps + my walking tape.
![]() ![]() I just realized that today would have been my 12th Anniversary of joining Atkins .... had I stayed on the plan and tomorrow will be my 1 Year Anniversary of getting back on plan. Feeling grateful that I weigh less this year than last. Susan ~ I love the Jalapeno & Cheese smokie and I don't find them hot, just a bit spicy. Your menu is making my crave taco salad which I haven't had for awhile. CindyLou ~ I have mentioned this before but February has been troublesome for so many people. I weighed today and I'm up to 238. I will hit this February goal - but it will probably be in March ![]() So, that brings me to a question. If I don't hit my February goal, do I readjust all of my goals since it doesn't seem likely that they will happen now that I am behind? |
