Slacker....
Hi everyone!!!!Im actually looking forward to all your replies everyday!!! Even if I dont reply I still read them everyday. It helps so much. Today I exercised ... i was so stressed all day, stupid since I'm letting things worry me and stress. I had this great job opportunity but its an hour drive and I could not find adequate daycare arrangement. So heavy hearted after weeks of worrying and losing lots of sleep I decided to NOT take the job. I emailed them today and they called me right back urging me to reconsider and giving me more time and like the pushover I can be... I didnt insist on my NO! So tonight - still stressing I slacked of big time. I slacked off enough for all of you so you dont have too. LOL I had 2 tbsp nutella, a LARGE bowl of rice crispies and to top it off ALOT of Low Carb pasta, probably 40 carbs worth. Well, tomorrow is a new fresh day and I decided not to give myself a hard time about it. ;-) Danielle - Home is Germany. My husband is orphaned so ZERO family here. Makes it really tuff. Its time to go home.... Cindy - thank you for the invite ;-) cammie - sorry about your meniscus - ouch - funny the doc saying just lose weight. It be easier sticking water to a tree. Maybe some upper body workout? I love those stretch bands. I use them when I hurt my knee etc.. 2013 GOALS be more grateful do at least 12 RAK - 01/12/2012 Bought food for animal shelter lose weight get thyroid checked 01/17/2012 went to appt today – waiting on results much needed SPA Day do 24 Kickboxing Classes - 01/18/2013 1 class knocked out try out C25K take a Fitness Class I never tried try out Yoga - 01/02/2013 emailed Instructor go to the Theater go to Jazz/Blues event get my house sold - 01/03/2013 another showing take dogs to dog training more to come.... Inspiration
Last night as I coulnd't sleep I thought of all the great people that I lost... I don't want to word it negatively. Let's say I had the pleasure to meet for the time they had on this earth.
Then I thought of all the time I wasted worrying and making poor choices for all the wrong reasons. I really want this year to be a turning point. When I look at my 13 month old son, and like today when he took his first steps and I got to witness that, I realized more that instead of going back into a career job I'm longing more for a simple job. One that I dont have to worry about at night, that keep my mind occupied when my hubby is trying to tell me about his day. In the past year we greatly simplified. It is funny how you live pay-check to pay-check and then cut your salary by half and still make due just fine. GREAT ARTICLE: There is no good reason to deny yourself the opportunity to do something extraordinary. Life is about making a difference, and you will never run out of ways to do that. Whatever has happened, whatever others say, whatever the state of the economy or weather may be, you still have the ability to thrive. Life is what you choose to make it. You have unlimited power over your mind, not external objects and events. Realize this, and you will find the source of strength you need to move mountains. |

Honestly having a rough day. Buried at work. Back is sore and wine isn't really helping.
Jazlyn ~ I worked on the weekend but other than that it was good. How about you? Julia ~ That sounds kind of exciting? |

I had my granddaughter all day Saturday and just puttered around on Sunday. It's too cold to go out IMO.
The kids had a 2 hour delay this morning for school. Everything is pure ice. We are used to a lot of snow but not ice. I haven't been on plan since the cake incident. Today is a new day, though. |

Hi Everyone--Checking in with my progress so far with this challenge...
My goal is to fit into a 12 by the 4th of July. At the moment, there's a long way to go, but I did manage to lose 5 pounds this month, and I'm very happy about that. One of my goals was to do Pilates daily. I didn't succeed in that until this past week, but my walking plan is going well, and my foot has held up to what I'm doing without too much pain. I've tightened up on my eating--I didn't change my plan, but I've really been getting vigilant about the adherence to my plan. Weekdays are fairly easy for me, but weekends are tough. February goals will be to continue with my current food plan (low carb and calorie cycling) and exercise plan. I am going to increase my daily goal of steps walked to 10,000 daily (January was 8,000 daily). How is everyone else doing? --Diana

Hi Diana ~ Glad that things are going well for you.
I'm good ... things are getting better at work and although I am battling food cravings, I'm sticking to the plan! |

Hi Diana! Our stats are about the same. I want to be in a 12 as well.
I am not doing so well. The weather is so awful I haven't exercized in a long time. I feel like a slug. Last edited by Jazlyn; 01-31-2013 at 09:17 AM.. |

My surgery went good except it seemed to take longer to feel better than I thought it should. Food and everything was going good until I fell apart yesterday .... thankfully today is a new day.

Ellipsisdream!WTG, 2f2f--you are definitely making great progress! Doing my weekly check-in and progress report...the scale was up almost 2 pounds today, but that was expected, as TOM is making it's annoying presence known... I started going to a Zumba class twice a week (last night was the 3rd session) and found that I absolutely love it. I've had to modify some of the moves to accommodate my foot/ankle problems, but it's still a phenomenal workout. Weekends are still challenging for me to stay on plan, but I'm finding that I'm gaining more control all the time. Sometimes it's hard to be patient when my losses are so small yet hard-fought-for, but I'm hoping to get better with that as well. Have a great weekend! Diana |

Good morning everyone!
I am flying to my dad's on Tuesday. I am going to try to walk along the beach everyday if my dad can be alone. My dad said he needs to start eating healthier so I need to figure out what to cook that will be good for both of us. |

OK, I am so sorry I have not had time to c heck in, BUT! !! My size 26 clothes are officially too big!!!!!!! I know it seems like a long time for me between sizes, but I am experiencing many more benefits that are helping me be more patient. I am not quite in my 22's yet, but I am fast approaching them! I think a reasonable goal is a size 20 by the fourth
Hope everyone is doing well. I will try to check inagain tomorrow! |

Ok, I am failing at structured exercise. I admit it. I am more active, and when I can I take opportunities to walk further like parking way out in the "North 40" when I go to the mall or walmart. I even take a lap around walmart before shopping when I have time. So my new focus is to make sure that I am making time for a walk or a WATP video. 3x a week.
I know exercise is essential for overall health, which is my goal, and I just can't seem to get into it! GRRRR! Jazlyn: Hope all goes well with your Dad. What kind of food will he eat? Maybe we can help you come up with some ideas. to everyone that is struggling right now. I know the struggle, and I still pray everyday for strength. Keep getting up and remember that perfection should not be on the table!!! Progress is what we are aiming for!!Progress NOT Perfection!
