300+ Support Group~Decking the Halls in December 2012

Work was super slow and boring. I went to Target after work to see if they had any good stuff on clearance....and to spend my Target gift card. I got DH a game he wanted (well technically half of it is his--tee hee) and the rest I spent on various kitchen stuff and some 50% christmas stuff. I got a xmas CD---strings and harp which is nice and calming. I listened to it on the drive home. I got a 6 count mini loaf non-stick pan. A metal spatula to replace the one my gramma gave me 25 years ago. If finally broke. The new one isn't really just like it but it will have to do.

I guess your right Mona... he must love me more than his Dad!! Yeah his plumbing finally moved some yesterday....the kid has so much medicines that he has taken.. and the doctor told us there isn't a magic pill you can take and feel better.. that it takes about a week or so...

The harp is my most favorite... one year for my birthday, my husband gave me a harp lesson.. the nearest place for a lesson around here is over 30 miles....

I am going to have some hot peach tea with ACV.. hoping it knocks the stuff in my chest out.. if not, hubs said he doesn't care how I say how expensive he is going to get me Mucinex!!! The breathing and the wheezing is enough already...anyway.. I am going to figure out my Sunday Menu...

And you know Deb, my gramma gave me the spatula used so I don't really know how old it was. It was a wooden handle with the metal spatula part riveted on. The metal got so old from me using it, it snapped in two. I got a lot of use out of it. They sure don't make stuff like they used to.

it is a lot cheaper than musinex too if walmart is out, googling it looked like walgreens had a version too i have never tried theirs though

I've got the crud too. You girls must have given it to me over the internet. I went for a regular check up yesterday and my doc was concerned about my breathing. I didn't feel too bad then, but she presicribed antibiotics and an inhaler. I really feel bad today. I had a busy day planned and wanted to invite friends for NYE, but I have done nothing today. I hope to feel better tomorrow.
Melinda, I am glad your son got some relief. My grandson has had encopresis since he was 4, so I have experience.
Chewie and Deb, you two put me to shame today.

Lucky i haven't done anything since! LOL tim e to go reboot the laundry though and get that pot pie in the oven YUM it will be really good on this COLD day Should not be this cold without SNOW!

Melinda - glad to see your post about ds and doc. I think the reason our kids give Mom aggravation is that they know their dad won't tolerate it. And we're quicker to get over it than dad. Doesn't make it hurt any less though.

Wow - it's almost 3PM and I haven't done much of anything. Did watch the snowflakes falling earlier - probably could have counted them - lol - not many at all. That's all I need for the winter, now I'm ready for spring.

I've got a pork tenderloin I'm fixing for dinner and cleaning out the rest of the leftovers.

Chewie - can you get the shake you mentioned at Walmart too? I tried making another one for lunch - ugh - with the Rob protein powder..... I won't be making that one again. I've wasted a lot - trying to find one I like.

Hurray, I made it home! UGH I hate the grocery store. I did get lots of food to cook though so that is a good thing.

Melinda......hubs made his self a big old drink of whiskey, honey and lemon juice one night when he was coughing so bad. It really knocked it out of him. He slept like a baby and the next morning the hacking was so much better from that point on.

DD, Sara (grand daughter) and I went to Target and got in on a few bargains today. We went to Logan's for lunch. Sara wants spaghetti for supper so I bought makings for that along with a Marie Calendar's pumpkin pie.

Yes.....that is it Deb. Hot Toddy!!!! We may get some snow Monday night. I hate to see bad weather on NY EVE with people out driving and some drinking. Still a evening at home with snow and cocoa along with a good book on my little Kindle would be sweet!!!!

Maybe---it's called Premiere but I buy the ready to drink stuff. We get it in a 12 pack at Sam's.

I made myself a chocolte pb shake today instead of using the premade one. I used chocolate protein powder, 8 oz skim milk and 2 Tablespoons of PB2(a powdered nonfat peanut butter). OMG---it was fantastic. Plus it was only 8 oz and I got 38 grams of protein. I am very happy because I need to mix things up and this was the beginning. I really liked it alot.

Feel better, Lucky. My older ds had encopresis too---for many years, finally outgrew it but we had so many tests, etc. Awful.

We never go out on New Year's eve. If we do, we stay at the hotel that is having the party. I did tell dh, next year, I'd like to do that again so I can wear a slinky sexy dress to dance the night away.
