Thanks for the opinions ladies. To me it is just hair, no big deal. Mike is the hair guy, he loves long hair. hahaha I used to keep it super short and I promised him 5 years ago that I would not cut it all off. Of course this is a whole different ball of wax.

With my last bout of Cancer I didn't have to have chemo or radiation. The hysterectomy took care of it. (or so we thought)

I felt really odd after I had my hysterectomy, like I was not a woman. I just wonder if I had to have a mastectomy if that would amplify the feeling. Then again with implants I would feel like I was pretending.

I go in on the 3rd and we will schedule biopsys and stuff from there. I have let it go into Gods hands. If he wants me to face this then so be it. Thank you all for your suppot. I have not even told my sister about this.

Hey again everyone! Got up early again this morning to get my son to swim practice with the local high school teams. Then went back to get him two hours later. My sister and I drove about 2 hours to meet up with his friend. We met halfway at Prasek's Hillje Smokehouse Prasek's Hillje Smokehouse - A Link Above!. It was a fun place. Yummy yummy meats! We ate there. I had a Patty Melt on Marble bread with mushrooms and onions--sooooo yummy. My sis had the sliced beef brisket sandwich, ds had the chopped beef sandwich. Then we had coconut cake, dewberry pielet (my own word probably a tartelette, really), and buttermilk pielet which we split anyways.

Drove an hour back and met up with our respective spouses and the kiddos at SkyHigh a trampoline place for an hour and a half then we went and met the parents at Papasito's. OMG. I am sooooo full!!! Everything was delish. It was pretty but another cold front has come in. Hope you are all doing well!

I know a lot of people were angered because in the odd life of Timothy Green they did not know there was a death in the movie. The kids were very upset. I do think that 10 is pretty mature to handle a disney movie.

Chews, I hate protein shakes, too. My SIL has had some success with adding protein via ground beef and turkey - easier to ingest and high in protein.

We got DS some pants and shirts, there was a huge selection at Kohls for him to pick from, the prices were pretty good. We also got the 20% off over $100 and ended up paying only $86 with tax. I got me a pair of nice pants size 24, but I'm usually a 26 and I haven't tried them on yet. Keeping fingers crossed.

Linda, still enjoying those beautiful glass ornaments? Glad you are managing to clear some space in your fridge. It feels like at my house we have done nothing else but eat for the past 4 days. Hope the storm misses you.

Deb, glad to hear Ken is doing well at work. Maybe they were never even planning on giving him a hard time.

I just can't even stand the thought. But no matter what happens, you will be OK, you have the fighter spirit and a group of friends to bug the bejeebers out of you all the time.

John lost his nice thick hair with chemo, but then it regrew. It came out very different - thinner and curly. We love you and are here for you.

Sue, haven't seen the Life of Pie movie or read the book, only heard the book is really good. I think the movie would be appropriate for a 10 year old. You are a fun grandma, your grand kids are lucky.

Good Morning My sisters of thread...

Yesterday was quite a day and I am so sorry I didn't come back here...as I was posting in the morning, my son appeared at the door and his words to me were Mama you have to take me somewhere where someone can help me.. that's what he said.. anyway I call the doctor's office and they are only open until 1pm on Fridays.. so she asked me, do you want to make an apt for next week or do you think it's urgent enough to come in..and all my kid heard was my answers back, he didn't hear her questions.. anyway for some reason, I guess from him not feeling well, I became the punching bag...and he said you know I hated the way you spoke to her, you told her it was an emergency and I could have waited...and a blah blah blah.. and those of you with or had teenagers knows that kind of button they pushed.. and it continued in the car.. that has hubs was driving I opened the door and started to get out..I realized he didn't feel so good, but I didn't think I deserved that crap...anyway so needless say with everything combined I didn't feel so hot...plus add on the stuff that is rattling around in my lungs....and wheezing when I breathe!! GOOD LORD.. but she examined him.. and showed us the spot where he said was hurting him was the bottom of the esophagus down to digestive whatever....so everything you ladies told me to do the day before was spot on....and I thank you from my heart....especially to LUCKY, WHAT YOU POSTED THE DOCTOR SAID TO US ALMOST QUOTING YOU!!!! well anyway if he doesn't feel better in 3 days he is going to have to have an ultra sound.. but I think now after 2 days of stool softeners, prune juice, LOLOL!!! and some stuff that is comparable to that Metamucil, and some pill thing....finally last night he was able to feel better...but he can't have soda, chocolate, any acid fruits, oranges etc....for a few days...and funny enough she said that Milk will help the pain he is feeling, but it doesn't help on cleaning your pipes if you know what I mean...

What a war zone... and why he aims his crap at me I have no idea why.. and his dad nothing....

but I thank you ladies very much.. and today I need to drink alot of liquids, to clear my own lungs I think.. it's pamper me day..

sausage and coffee going critters fed and am working up nerve to tackle litter pans
SIGH if i hadn't had to go to the bathroom i would have still been snoozing too cold and blustery and wet and not a snowflake in sight! OTOH not seen a skunk or possum lately

I like one kind from Sams--ready to drink but it's expensive. I do need to get a lot of protein and it's difficult.

Deb...the 3 of us are staying in my house locked up... because today is my Niece's wedding shower...and I don't want to go and I didn't like the whole thing that went down about it...so my family thinks this is the weekend that I am in Vegas...it's from noon to 3....and I told my brother I was leaving to come home on Saturday.. but I don't think I would be able to make it...I am sure it went over like a lead balloon.. but I don't care...they should have thought about that 25 years ago, when the family were just couch decorations and his friends got a promotion or was elevated to the family status as we were demoted, and use for couch cushions..

Chewie.. I don't mind a protein shake.. but everytime I have made myself one.. even if it's the only thing I have eaten for that day....I gain weight...I can't figure out either.. cause protein powder is only a couple of WW points...and I sweeten it with orange crystal light...
