It's rainy and overcast here, a little windy. I'll take it - no snow or ice. Don't mind the snow - but - ewww on the ice.

Mona - you've put up with this yucky stuff for a while now too. Hope this will be the weekend that you can knock it out of your system with more sleep. Chili sounds so good - need to see if I might have some hamburger in the freezer. Have to go freezer diving - ugh on chest freezers.

By the way - was it you that was using peach tea? Is it a true tea - or a bottled tea - was it snapple? Ever since it was mentioned, can't get the idea of peach tea - sounds yummy.

hahaha Linda, I am sorry you are stuck with your Grumpasauras.

For my tea I just use the packets of Diet Snapple peach tea. Word of warning though, mix it up BEFORE you put it in the microwave. I heated up my water the other day and then put the packet in and it caused a volcano effect...Water and tea went everywhere.

Wow - this sounds really good too. My mom always used the good old iron skillet too. Just never have heard of using cream though - I guess when you think of it - it just makes it more like a milk caramel taste. But crunchy - that does sound intriguing.

You know I looked up the coconut oil and lymphedema - other than eating it, is there other uses? As in lotion/using as a rub? Funny - 2 of the recipes I made yesterday called for coconut oil - or coconut flour. I do use coconut oil - probably not enough though. Seems like I run in spurts - use it a lot - then just taper off.

well back from doc as usual not a real exam UGh but he agreed the ear sinus tooth thingie was not normal especially being around for 10 months SIGH tried to get me in for a CT scan and a mammogram before the end of the year NO GO ugh and i got a steroid shot and he was supposed to call me in some RXs i did remember to tell him to make sure NOT to write obesity anywhere on the paper FORGOT to tell him to write me a thing for all those blood tests and i could have had it done in the morning and it would have wen t on the ins this year IDK maybe the steroid and antibiotics will keep it at bay for a while
asking for thoughts for Ken again tonight
i guess we gotta go one day at a time one hour at a time

It is sweetened with fake sweetener. I don't know if they make peach tea bags. I bet you could find some peach coffee syrups somewhere though. That would be good.

Linda, butter and heavy cream are basically the same thing. They can be interchanged, but she always used both.

Is something going at work that makes Ken feel so worried all the time about his job? Will keep good thoughts going his way for things to ease up for him. And you!

oh yeah
his wreck increased his memory loss and his iirritations at little things i guess just increased his PTSD alltogether
so he is making mistakes having trouble walking on the concrete for 10 hours and forgetting things so yeah we are really worried about his job
he has what they call a Step 2 at work and basically any other mistake he makes can be BYE BYE and that measn no transfering to another job in there in the next 6 months at best

Linda....DD brought their bags packed in case they needed to stay. I just hope we have no real bad weather this coming month since she is due before long.
Chewie....Are you as dry over your way as we are here? We have ponds and lakes dry or about dried up. One lake supplies 8 small towns water and it is almost dried up. They are building a pipe to Stillwater to get water but they say it will take around 6 months to get that done! They are just praying for rain.
Lony...we hooked up to Wi-Fi this past weekend also. Hubs gave me his old Kindle so I am all set now. Ladies, be sure and let me know when you see some good FREE books.

Hubs is off today. He has been downstairs in the garage most of the day just moving things around. That is what men do when they have nothing better to do isn't it????
