In all the years I worked in a medical office and helped in the insurance/billing we never had a case of an obese patient being denied ENT care due to being obese. Don't you pay contributions each month for health care?
oh it doesn't matter what it is! if the word obesity is ANYWHERE on the form(like a diagnosis or ANYTHING) our ins WILL NOT PAY even if like it is a broken arm or whatever i am not seeing a specialist just the reg PA i normally see we pay every 2 weeks out of Ken's check but it is walmart ins and i know everyone said the 10K out of pocket was high but it is the lowest one offered through them SIGH i am just glad we have ANY ins really

Hey Melinda - did you put all the cheese in that pie? I'm going to make it with sausage too. Didn't you say you grated the onion too? Any other tweaks?

Must be one heavy duffel bag. Have to have your emergency goodie bag, Hitting those in the hotel room are way too pricey. You'll be fine - once you get on the road, the closer you get to Vegas - the better you will feel about it. I'm really bad that way - dread getting ready for a trip - too much stressing over everything I'm leaving behind, but when I get to the destination, I'm ready to have a good time.

You are going to have a good time...........I'm jealous - sounds like so much fun. Win a big jackpot for all of us.

How cute. So when do you deliver them? And do they go to the same family? Did you manage to not eat any candy along the way?

Oh I shoveled the candy in like backhoe on overtime. Not that much just some milk duds here and there and a few mike & ike.

No they are going to two seperate houses. Both to one place would be diabetic coma time.

Deb - glad to see you are home safe and sound. Also, that you're getting into see the PA. Poor Ken - I know how painful knees can be. Sure hope that losing his job doesn't happen. What makes you think that? Has something else happened? You sure don't need this stress with everything else. Hugs to you Deb.

Hey girls,

Hope everyone is doing well in this exciting pre-Christmas time. Lony, the gingerbread house looks so cute!

I am so far behind on all the posts! Waiting for Christmas break when i'll have more time and then you wont be able to get rid of me.

Sorry I haven't posted much. Still going through tough time with the little children massacre. Being at work with little kids just keeps it at the forefront of my mind and keeps bringing it back over and over again.

Well, isn't this just the topping on the cake........It is beautiful. I bow before the mistress - can't be master, right?

Now, I want a gingerbread house - I want those rolos, I want those gummi bears, I want those Hersheys nuggets - shoot - I want all of it. I think I got a sugar rush just looking at them over and over. Funny - dh was walking by when I was checking out the house and barn, stopped in his tracks. Now - he is a major sugar junky (and skinny - sigh). We have a 27" screen on the desktop computer, so it was showing very nicely. He asked me if I was ordering him them for his Christmas gift. Funny fella - and he was serious.

Sorry to hear you're kinda blue today. Lucky had some good thoughts on the meeting with the finance people. Just keep telling yourself - 'I can do this, I can do this' and you will.

Linda
Thanks. There is still one dozen but I'm just staying away. Let them enjoy themselves. Maybe it's not good to have them in the freezer anyway.

I am excited to go to the dr, first time in a very long time. I'm most excited to be able to start pureed foods. Tomorrow night I hope to have some New England clam chowder.

Tonight, I have homemade meatballs and sauce bubbling on the stove and just put penne in to boil.

Thanks Linda.. this particular hotel we are staying at a candy bar is 4 bucks a bag of potato chips the snack size one is 4 bucks..and I decided that I would buy the drinks.. but not all that...the reason why I can't seem to relax is that you know I don't like to go on Vegas penny pinching.. had he told me maybe a year ago we could have saved and paid as we went along.. see I am practical and we don't have the money to be spontaneous....but with that said I am so excessive about everything.. I bought enough snacks for all of us.. boy I am a sick chick....I am getting excited but I haven't moved my ass to pack yet...and I have to..I gotta remember to bring my good underwire bra that hurts like heck to my baby powder..and my hubs has to pack his medication..you know one time he didn't.. and his 2 pills cost us 40 bucks!!!

Hello! I'm up early. My back hurt because I have to sleep on my back now...usually a side sleeper but can't because of the bursitis. I will most likely have to take a nap because I am still pretty sleepy.

Oh and also I had a leg cramp. In my inner thigh! Ouch! I can fix the ones in my calf but how do you move your inner thigh to ease a cramp? LOL. I got up and took some calcium. I've been slacking on it lately. My muscles always remind me by cramping up.
