Have you got it pulled back with a hair elastic like all the kids do? I can't imagine working in a kitchen with that much loose fabric flapping around. Be careful you don't get it caught on something, like a stove, oven......

Chewie, congrats on fitting into that shirt. So, maybe you have lost more than the 20 lbs I guesstimated? You are consuming less than 1000 calories a day, right? Does he bump you up a couple of hundred calories periodically to see where you stop losing and then back you off again if you have more to lose?

Thanks but on the weight loss, who knows??? My wls Bible---or so they call it says---phase 1 is what I'm on now--2 shakes a day + 64 oz water or clear liquids; phase 2 is pureed foods, at least 60 grams of protein still + 64 oz water or clear liquids; phase 3 moves on to regular food---same protein and liquid goals. There are also rules to follow---stop drinking 30 minutes before eating, no drinking during eating or upto 30 minutes after eating, no soft drinks, no caffeine, no straws, no sugar, low carb foods but protein always comes first. I think that's about it.

My food ads came this morning...and I notice that standing rib roasts are about 4.88 a pound..so of course they probably come in increments of 10 pounds...not a tiny one.. and I also notice that Smart n Finals has turkeys for .69 cents a pound, you don't have to purchase anything else I believe.. sure would like to buy one and make it both for Christmas...again I would only want a tiny turkey not a 100 pounder...so if I bought it tomorrow frozen... would it be safe to sit in my fridge till Monday???

I have an appt to meet face to face with the head of the committee and the pastor on Friday morning at 9. I so wish the pastor didn't have to attend. He intimidates me. What am I going to do???? Now I'm flipping out cause I thought it would just be the committee head and me. GRRRRR

To thaw frozen turkey, for every 5 pounds you need a whole 24 hours---so Monday should be fine.

Never mind.. according to butterball turkey...Allow for at least 1 day of thawing for every 4 pounds of turkey...so I have to see how big the turkey is first.. I want a 12 pounder..and if I bought that tomorrow...it will be thawed out by Saturday.. but can it sit another 2 days before cooking?? am I going nuts???

LOL you bossy lady! I am working on the light posts and trees while my windows cool off. Pour 300 degree candy into a piece of gingerbread and it takes a while for it to cool.

I am heading over to a friend's house around 9:00. We are going to make necklaces for our daughters and one friend. The 3 girls do a Christmas gift exchange with each other. They want tshirts or necklaces with the initials "P", "R" and "PII". My daughter and I have been looking but cannot find those initials. Plenty of "J" or "A" out there though if any of you need them.

So we decided to make bead necklaces for them and surprise them with them. Those initials are not those for their real names. Just names they have given themselves on Mario Kart. Crazy kids!

But, I may be running a bit late as it looks like I will have to take dh to work. Oldest has a dentist apt and just got up so she can't take him. Yay, me. Sigh.

You know - just thinking about Lony whizzing around her kitchen - look at all the steps she saves. Campers are great when it comes to lots of convenience in a small place.

I love the thought of you sitting with friends and beading necklaces for your daughters. Fun time for all.

You know I hear this all the time. But - sorry - I see fat people in fitting t-shirts, slacks, dresses and nope - you see the rolls of fat, or bulging waistline, or clothes that ride up the gut that hangs down........I much prefer to see someone that has an overblouse over a tank top or a vest on. Remember that lady that played Raymond's mother on Everybody loves Raymond. She always looked nice I thought.

Make sure you put the back of your hand to your forehead and swoon a little too - also make sure you have a nice comfy chair handy and swoon in that direction. Chewie - why does the pastor intimidate you? Funny for a pastor I'm thinking. People shouldn't feel that way about any pastor. Could that be the reason he's sitting in on the meeting?

Nice to hear that you can already fit into a shirt that just hung in the closet for so long. Your little boy is 18.......sound like he had a nice surprise, his friend announcing to the whole place it was his special day - good for her.
