Good Morning Kcmama!!

Today I have to make my hard candy and pour it into my windows, assemble some houses and try not to eat my weight in candy. Oh and I have to clean the kitchen and do the floors.

Yes, I hate it too when I can't go back to sleep. On the house - we have pre-approval, but no actual signed contract from the bank. The housing market here is so bad - all topsy turvy.......so much money - so little house, and then it needs a ton of work.

I'm off to get my hair cut, then the grocery and maybe drug store and p.o. I'm ready for a nap, but if I stop now - nothing will get done the rest of the day.

Lony, you are a busy little baker and candy maker. You won't know what to do with yourself when the holidays are over. Oh yes you will - I'm thinking little girls dresses will be going on big time. And bows. Almost like sewing for dolls. Looking forward to some pictures of that gingerbread house and barn. A little outhouse maybe?

I am heading over to a friend's house around 9:00. We are going to make necklaces for our daughters and one friend. The 3 girls do a Christmas gift exchange with each other. They want tshirts or necklaces with the initials "P", "R" and "PII". My daughter and I have been looking but cannot find those initials. Plenty of "J" or "A" out there though if any of you need them.

So we decided to make bead necklaces for them and surprise them with them. Those initials are not those for their real names. Just names they have given themselves on Mario Kart. Crazy kids!

But, I may be running a bit late as it looks like I will have to take dh to work. Oldest has a dentist apt and just got up so she can't take him. Yay, me. Sigh.

Hahahaha now that is funny! I am going to scatter some milk duds in the pasture

I am going to find lots of things to keep me busy. I am thinking of buying a cricut to start making my own cards and things. Besides I will have to start planning for valentines day. That is right around the corner.

I am getting a new serger so there will be plenty of sweing in my future.

Deb, I believe Walmart offers nice scholarships for family of employees. Have Stephen apply for every scholarship he is even remotely eligible for. Sometimes it will suprise you what they can get.

I went to my granddaughter's Christmas concert last night and it lasted 1 1/2 hours. I had not been home since I left for work and did not get home until 9:30 last night. You could tell my daughter was not the director for this one. I have a party to go to at two different nursing homes for my mother and my aunt and then I am through until Christmas Eve lunch at my house. I plan to cook all day Saturday and Sunday after church to get ready for Monday.

Are you feeling any better Lucky? Did they find something to replace the pain patch? I hope you are going to get some help with all that cooking.

He stopped in after he went to get his "adult" license. He only had a provisional one before he turned 18. He went to get some food at Chik fil a--sp?? And his friend, Hannah, came running out yelling HAPPY BD in front of the whole place. He said he almost fainted. LOL What a sweetie.
