That's what I've done in the past. Printed a pic and put it in a card or box.

How sad is it I don't know what I just bought Mike for christmas? I set up a file folder in favorites and had him put the pages of things that he wanted in there. He was also kind enough to rank them in order. I just clicked on the pages, added to cart and checked out.

I just talked to the head of the committee to discuss my job and pay. He's going to get back to me this afternoon by email to set up a time to meet face to face to discuss it. I'll be glad when this is over. I expect that I will take a paycut and then in the spring, look for another job elsewhere.

Well, Sunday the parents are coming as usual. Christmas eve we usually go to our church's candle lit service and then come home to a quiet dinner--just the 4 of us. We have a very traditional dinner(Eastern European--no meat)--usually but this year, we're going to have to change it up a bit for me. I hope I will be on purees for that so maybe scrambled eggs or a shrimp bisque or something.

Christmas day will include a later afternoon dinner of goose and all the trimmings. I don't know what I'll have that day yet.

Don't the stores email you a receipt? All the ones I shop at have. I ordered a set of Torin 3 Ton Double Locking Car Jack Stands for my BIL this morning. There is a receipt/confirmation page. Check your email maybe?

I have teen drama believe me.I have been doing a whole lot of praying in regards to ds. I almost hate to feel good/happy about his text to me this morning. He texted that he got a 99% on the Unit Test in his College Algebra class so he now has a definite A for High School Credit and at the Univ. level for his first college class. Though I am thrilled about that, happy for him and proud of him, I am too afraid to think all is hunky dorey.

So your son's now ex girlfriend comes from an abusive family? or did I misread something? Is she graduating this year as well?

Kcmama that is fantastic!! Congrats to your sonny boy.. how awesome!!! My son is in AP Calculus and is barely making with an 79....which I guess is a high C...however since reading about your son's wonderful achievement I just looked at my son's grades and almost fell to the floor.. somehow his Marching band grade has dropped to a B...and so has everything else...Out of 7 classes he has literally.. has that high C... in his eyes it's really a B..and he has 2 A's and the rest are B's.. and I almost fell on the ground about the marching band grade.. that should out of everything a perfect grade.. I hate that man so much.. my son doesn't know that my hubs called the teacher and I think he is taking it out on my son...what kind of moron does this to a kid...

Everything in Sabrina's family.. my son's now ex.. was going along good...but then the 19 year old sister got involved with a man of 39 years old...the more the mom and dad told her not to do this, the more she did to the point of moving in with him.. the mother was going to turn off the sister's cell phone and take back the car.. but she never did.. and since then I guess her family has been on a slide.. couple that with the fact that Sabrina is immature and low self confidence and esteem...for instance my son knows alot of people, some girls...that he talks to or tutors.. nothing going on.. those girls are rich with rich boyfriends.. so if he would say..if one walked by, hello Caroline, have a great weekend.. Sabrina would turn to him and say what??? so you like her, is she prettier than me??? I said only once, I said you are to young to have to go thru this.. and that's all I said.. I decided that I don't want to fight the battle.. it's his lessons to learn.. as long as he is respectful and treats her right...He told her that she can always comes to him for help and if she needs to talk...I said you mean be friends??? and he said well I don't have experience in this.. is that possible?? and I said I don't think so.. but hey who knows..then when we got home last night, he told hubs and hubs made a joke.. and I whispered to hubs.. you know you have to stop that, it's bothering your son too.. so hubs went for a walk and came back and apologized for being insensitive...She is going to graduate next year.. I told my son, you have plenty of time for girls later.. you have to figure out this college stuff...but now looking at his grades OMG...

Eliza... The best thing to remember now is that they are
safe in the arms of God. If you are glued to the tv watching 24/7 I would suggest you quit. It will only depress you. Just remember the worse is over for them because they are forever safe now. We just need to pray and hold the families up now.
I see the S-O-B's (sorry old boys) from Kansas are going to be there to
protest at the memorial for the children. How can they do that? I know
the group of cycle riders will help keep them away. They always do that
here when they come down to protest at a funeral.
