ken's left one is bone on bone and the shot is synvisc i think YES it helped painful to get it but 6 months of relief! he is supposed to get one in each this time

This really looks good - have everything but the bacon. Have you tried it? Going to?

How much protein are you supposed to be getting each day with your shakes? On the protein shakes - is one better than the other - is isolate good or not? I wish I could find a good one. One that tastes like bacon or cheeseburgers, or ice cream. When I dream - I dream big, don't I?

You said you are buying 2 doz KK - I will tell you - they do freeze very nicely. Although - I'm thinking with 2 teens and their friends you'll not have a problem getting rid of them very quickly.

Glad the car situation has resolved itself - and that the accident with ds wasn't serious. Hate having car problems.

Linda, thank you, my friend It is very easy to love these kids, they become like your own kiddos after a short time. You just do anything and everything you need to do to keep them safe. We have safety drills every couple of months, so the kids are prepared for emergencies and know where to hide and to stay quiet.

On another note, how is your knee? I was reading about cayenne today and learned some people use it topically for joint pains. I have this capsicum cream that I use on my sore muscles. I guess cayenne is a diuretic and also reduces swelling.

A minimum of 60 grams. I'm not too knowlegable about protein yet.

I might throw one in the freezer if they don't eat them super quick.

Yes, I absolutely love mine. We cook in it all the time and it's so easy to clean. I bought dh the 3 pack today. I think we paid $40 or so for the bigger one.

i was trying to figure out cobras! lol it is Eastern Ky University and if their scholarships and grants come to more than it it cost to go there the kids can draw out the money to use! at cumberland ugh they KEEP any overages which is terrible but EKU is public and cumberland is private NOW just to GET some scholarships or grants he gets to go next wek to visit Vandy but at least he will have some options

lol Deb - you win - I never drove 400 miles in a week. Felt like it some days - but you get the blue ribbon.

Now - where in the world did I get STEPHEN - I know your Steven - brain fog I guess. But - great news about the acceptance letter from EKU. 2 hours - now - that's not bad at all - close enough to come home if need arises.

yeah the guy who gave it to him hmm earlyspring this year i think??said it had only been used that way about a year and that it saved a lot of surgeries ken wants to avoid surgery as long as possible

and oh yeah 2 hours is like the perfect distance LOL it is just 2 exits farther up the road from Berea hmmcome to think of it i am going to have him put an ap into Berea just in case i KNOW it would all be paid for there and since he seems in no real hurry to PICK one couldn't hurt

it is 60 miles a day just to go back and forth to school then if i have to make an extra trip there or run to Jellico or go to Corbin for shopping soo it is just 300 miles a week to get him to school 5 days a week

Eliza - I have used the capsacin cream - never helped my knees. I've found that the gentle massage seems to help loosen the kinks.

Curious - on this ceramic pan - I thought the good ones were expensive. The Sears that is advdrtised is only 29.99 originally and that's for 3. Questioning the quality I guess - I have bought way too many pans over the years that were just shoddy once you start using them. How about the pan you bought - is it holding up - and wasn't it more expensive?

Linda for me i have had 2 of those ceramic pans..they really were crappy for me..,the first time I used it was great after that....it didn't have the non stick anymore.,,,stuff burned in it...I got mine at bed bath and beyond

So what happened was about 5 or 6 years ago, we had went to Vegas and I saw where Jersey Boys, a musical of Frankie Valle's life was playing and I had mentioned I wouldn't mind seeing it...but my son hates my husband's family and he said that he didn't want to stay with them if we saw the show..we couldn't take him for some reason.. due to his age...so I said fine.. no problem..I am always self conscience about going to these things due to my weight...Anyway the last time we went to Vegas in July.. My son said look, I hate going there, he said to me I feel bad but I cannot stand my aunt, hub's sister and I don't want to go anymore..I am sure he will like it when he turns 21.. so we promised that was the last time he would have to go...which was when we went back in July...

So right on my birthday....my hub's comes out and says Melinda, I want you to know and I don't want you to get mad or say no.. but my sister and I have been working together, because in one month I am taking you to Vegas to see Jersey boys...My hub's sister got us a hotel room.. and I guess since she is a resident there.. they get all kinds of ticket discounts, buy one get one for free type things.. so she also got the tickets as well.. and he has been saving a little stash for this, he said for a few months now. the problem I have practical me.. is that there, really isn't that much money.. I don't have to gamble that's fine.. but we have barely any cash and he said to me.. to stop stressing if we have to charge the rental car we will.. well that is torture for me cause I don't want to do that...but I also knows he can use some time off as well...

So part of me is excited but the other part of me is already telling myself OMG what if I am too fat to fit thru the door, the seats.. then I feel ashamed for not being a string bean already...my sister in law told me that what she could do is get handicapped seats.. but I appreciate her suggestion, but I am just fat not handicapped...

My son will be here by himself.. from Thurs after school...until we get back on Saturday..so we will arrive Thurs night.. and then Friday, his sister already has our itinerary planned out which really irks me.. wish hubs would say hey let us have some time to jollypop around some.. but when someone is helping you with rooms and tickets.. I guess we are stuck.. she wants her husband to come and meet us and then we are going to a new mob museum which I know hubs will love but what if we can't afford it.. you know what I mean.. and also her husband is great when she is around but when she isn't it's awkward.. he gives me the creeps.. it's almost as if he is a spy and observing us...I don't know sounds silly but that's how he makes me feel..

She texted her brother to tell him we were coming in on the 21st. and he said thanks for letting me know but I will be in Los Angeles that weekend.. so frick him too.. I guess when I told his ass off at the funeral I hit a nerve or I told the truth and he can't handle it...which really proves my point because I told him, you have been down here a million times and not once have you seen my son, much less your brother my husband.. and so if he was coming down here, either I am 100 percent correct, (which I am, cause his sister had told me everytime he has come down here)...or he is lying and doesn't want to see us.. which is fine with me...I would rather have a conversation with a chair...his brother is about as interesting as vanilla ice cream.. he tells us fish stories.. things that aren't true..like so I went into my boss's office and I said either you do it my way or I am gone.. yeah right, lying sack of you know what...so that's that...

I trust my kid.. being alone.. he hasn't done anything otherwise.. I bought a him a few frozen dinners, some cereal and milk and Thursday Morning I will get up early like 4 am and make spaghetti and a tuna casserole I think.. so he will have enough food..just have to make sure I get keys made, so he can get into the house.. fingers crossed he will be ok.. he did say to me, Mama the minute you leave I am going to have sex with Sabrina in every room LOL.. I feel over laughing....
