Guys, it's our wedding anniversary today and because of DH's and mine different work schedules, we don't get to go out tonight

Maybe over the weekend.....

Feeling depressed over it. Wish John was on day shift. They are still looking for a replacement for him and Lord knows how long that will take. In the meantime....do nothing during the week, just work and home, work and home....Feel like we can't go anywhere or do anything.

I am home from the big city.

Thanks for all the support on my decision for Christmas. I am a grown woman and it is time I quit letting people walk all over me and take advantage of my soft big ole heart. If I do something for someone now it is because I WANT to not because I feel like I have to.

I just love you girls to pieces!

I know how you feel. On our anniversary this year I was taking Mike to the airport before dawn to start his new job adventure.

Yes, there is something from each of you ladies here, the way I see it. Didn't want to name names because each possesses more than one of these qualities and didn't want to accidentally miss anyone.

TEEN DRAMA:...

Ok so my son hangs out with a group of friends.. there is Daniel and Matthew..a few other people.. well Daniel just admitted to liking Matthew's sister.. so they started speaking on Facebook.. because I guess being at school face to face is an old fashioned Idea.. but I digress..so my son was telling me that Daniel told my son that he doesn't know how Matthew is going to react.. after all Katrina is his baby sister, she is a Sophomore and the boys are Seniors..So my son said Bro do me a favor and don't involve me in this...so last night at 1am...Daniel and Katrina were talking on Facebook.. and she says she doesn't have alot to live for... so he got scared and texted Matthew her brother...LOL!! I said Sonny Boy don't get involved.. but I guess she did it all for attention..and I told my son that Daniel broke the Bro code...I told him I don't understand why Daniel couldn't look elsewhere for a girlfriend.. why take the chance of busting up a friendship...

I am sorry if this is going to offend someone....in the next story..

Then his group of friends from last year, he still sees and keeps in touch.. one of the kids her name is Tiffany.. and she finally came out to my son, that she is gay...I asked my son how he felt about it... and he said that he told her that he was happy that she was able to tell him, and trust him enough and feel comfortable...so she said to my son not tell the other kids.. that she would tell them.. especially Kevin.. cause Kevin has a crush on her..

So I am really proud and amazed I raised such an amazing kid...(except when his attitude and mouth get going)...

I wished I was able to treat myself better with my weight issues.. I know if I stuck on a diet long enough it would come off.. I am my own friggen worst enemy.. if someone treated me like this I wouldn't have them in my life...

Honey, many couldn't go through life the way we do, lugging all that weight around, and still handling all our other responsibilities with dignity. We need to give ourselves more props than we do. Not many can do what we do and not give up.

That is so awesome! I admire his maturity and sensitivity. Hope my son gets there some day soon.

Happy, Happy Anniversary! I am sorry that you can't do anything tonight. What are your plans for the weekend? Will you go out for a lunch or dinner? Do you have a favorite place you like to go to or will you go out to some new, snazzy place? Here's hoping that by this time next year John will be on days and you can have the choice to go out on the actual night or put it off until the weekend.

The decision won't be taken away from you. Sometimes that makes all the difference in the world, doesn't it?

LOL my goodness my kid can piss me off like nobody..

You know I want to tell you something...when my son was very little, my hub's sister had a horrible insulting habit of comparing my son to her brother's daughter. At the time it bugged me....made me feel I wasn't doing something right..,cause his daughter had a 30 word vocabulary and my kid 25. So I spoke to the doctor....the doctor told me he would be fine. That eventually all kids catch up to each other....and my kid unfortunately is an only child, which I have heard sometimes makes them mature faster....your sonny boy will be fine....he is.keeping you on your toes.

Just thank goodness you son doesnt play drums.
