Ken and Steven just went out to replace the door pins on the jimmy! eek! not too complicated a job except replacing the spring BUT eek i hope he has patience and remembers the WD40 FINGERS CROSSED oh and that the door doesn't fall on anyone's toes! they are supposed to be using a jack to hold the weight but with guys who knows? i am going to see if i have any of the wd40 hidden in here to take to them

Eliza....now you do understand home depo to a guy is like a favorite shopping place for us don't you! My hubs could spend the day in Lowes I think.

Deb....they had a memorial at his church yesterday. He had just said last week that he wanted to be cremated and buried with his mom and family so that is what they did.
We buried mama next to daddy. We didn't go back to the memorial yesterday. I was just emotionally drained. Their little church has a web site and they had the service live so we watched it from here.
Guess what my mama did. She had hid $52 dollars in one of her purses that I brought home. My sis had gone through all of the purses and found nothing. I just smiled when I found it this morning and said thanks mama. I'll take my daughters out to a movie and for lunch on it after Christmas. I know my mama well enough to know that is just what she would want me to do!

That is great Sue! How special to have found that. Ilike those kinds of surprises!!

How is your son doing and his kids? Things have calmed down? Do they do shared custody and stay with him every other weekend? I know it has been a long time since all the drama began but couldn't remember how it turned out. Has your daughter in law gone back to work?

Sue we watched the parade from my Mommie's old house(always was the best place for viewing) and i noticed one of her ceramic santas i thought i would bring him home today clean him up and put him in the china cabinet there was a 10 quarter roll and a 50 cent piece in it WOW mommie has been gone since 2006 and hadnt been in her house really since maybe Jan 2006 and it was there the whole time i cried

OMG no....my hubs would divorce me.
