Happy Hanukkah, Melinda. I sure hope you are feeling at least a little bit better.

Chewie remember to take it easy. I didn't like to take the pain meds too much because they just put me to sleep.

Deb wow Steven is a firecracker today! Sorry about Ken's manic mood. My DH gets in weird manic moods too. Sometimes it's hard living with his special kind of crazy.

So I got the living room all tidied up and I was going to take some pictures but my camera battery is dead....so it's currently charging. Still working on laundry. Gosh, my morning is slipping away. Almost time for bed and then when I wake up it's back to work for me!

What is everyone up to today?

Hello Everyone.. I hope everyone is ok...feel better Lucky.. my brother had the shingles and it was horrible.. wished they had a cure for it....Chewie glad your feeling ok at least..

Thank you so much for the Happy Chanukah!!....I feel so bad and so guilty but I don't have much to give my son...I only have some chocolates...like Chanukah coins and Chocolate Santa.. other variety of things.. he loves candy....and some body spay...and 15 dollar gift card to Starbucks.. and 50 bucks cash.. wish I could give him more, but I can't... mother's guilt...

My exposed nerves in my gum, is doing a little better.. but I now have a routine, a dental routine for the rest of my life...if that's the worse thing I will take it...

I need to go back and read the thread...I have a family dinner at my bro's house I am not looking forward to...for a number of reasons..but I have to face that..

And so that is that...

I hope you ladies aren't working so hard....I need to go the kitchen.. and clean..for my Sunday cooking...

Good morning to Deb, Sue, Lonykins, Elizakins, Mona, Chewie, Lucky, Lynn.. and to all else I missed..

I have the Ronco rotisserie and it's not hard to clean. It all comes apart and the bottom tray can even be soaked if needed. We just never use it. I need to ask dh to get it out and maybe we'll use it over the holidays.

Well, here are some of the snowmen I tried to save from the horrible frosting. His arms are kinda lumpy, but snowmen are not perfect right?

Come sit by the fire and enjoy the Christmas tree.

Closeup. Please note the awesome cow artwork.

This is the wall behind the TV....I mean behind the fireplace.

Here is the other side of the tree and the room.

I this reindeer. I set him out every year.

And the photoshoot wouldn't be complete without my cats. Here in Princess-Face Mauley.

And there is Tinycat. Sheesh the cat hair really shows up with the flash. Time to vacuum.

Lony your snowmen are totally adorable!! Who cares if they aren't perfect. But who am I kidding....even your imperfections turn out a product 10X better than I could ever do. They are made with love and I'm sure people will happily bite off their feet and heads.

Mona.. OMG I want a tree too.. is that your cat's green eyes??? I am in love...

Chewie.. I don't know how this happened to my gums.. he said it's age.. and the fact I have this horrible habit of sitting on my chair, while watching TV and flossing my teeth, all day and night...bad habit and I might have injured myself that way as well...

Lony.. OMG if I still lit the Menorah...I would definitely need that!!! Your cookies look so awesome...

Wow Deb and Melinda posted while I was. Thanks girls.

Hang in there Deb.

Melinda so sorry about your gums. Yep, both my cats have green eyes. Tinycat's are sort of extra glowy from the flash.

KC, the rolos are pretty difficult. You put a little pretzel on the pan, put a rolo on top, bake 3 minutes and then press a pecan on top. I used to make several dozen to give my adult Sunday School class I teach, but the last couple of years I have made poppy seed bread. Much easier and less time consuming.

I make a lot of goodies for my boss. He doesn't get many homemade things. I have made 2 batches of Chex Mix, 2 batches of carmels, rolos, and 2 batches of oatmeal cookies. The oatmeal cookies were almost a disaster. I checked my cabinet before I went grocery shopping and thought I had oatmeal. Turns out it was grits. My husband found oatmeal and I measured it out to see how many batches I could make. I divided it into 2 batches when I was finished to add different chips. I then looked up and saw the oatmeal that I forgot to put in them. That was a mess.

The rotisserie is so easy to clean. It all goes in the dishwasher.

Mona---your tree and decorations are adorable. You did an awesome job.

Lony--love your snowman cookies. You can't even notice the icy issue unless you mention it and look real close. I'm sure they'll taste delicious.

Ok, so I guess I could handle making those rolos LOL How nice of you to do all that baking for your boss. That is a lot of work. Hmmmmm grits as cookies, well, you could be on to something there. You might strike it rich in the south. So sorry about the oatmeal omission. That is a bummer!

Ok, well last night I used the Crockpot Seasoning Mix for the Beef Stew and it was very good. Today I did a Rump Roast in the crockpot actually with the Crockpot Seasoning Mix for Roast Beef and it is yummy. So, I will be looking to buy more of these and watching for coupons. I got these at Target. Have not seen them anywhere else but I wasn't looking either. I came upon these in the aisle where they sell the crockpots at one of our Target stores. I can highly recommend them! And the Beer Bread mix from Aldi!

I use them all the time, they are great arn't they? So much easier for me since I don't have a ton of room to store spices.
