I've been up for a few hours now. So far I've reheated DH some Chinese food, made myself some taquitos, and paid bills.

I think I'm going to mosey out to the living room and finish decorating the tree.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend? I go back to work tonight after being gone a long, long 5 days. Oooh! That reminds me I need to do laundry. Also, I ordered myself some cute long-sleeved tops from Catherines. I hardly ever buy myself clothes, but I've been wearing the same 4 tops to work forever and I wanted something new, darnnit!

I agree! New tops for Mona!! I am sure you didn't spend extravagantly. Did you have coupons? a sale? I wonder how the whole Nieman Marcus-Target partnership is going? Saw the area set up at Target the other night but I was hurrying out and didn't stop to look. Still pricey in my mind.....

We have the Merit Badge Forum today. I am showered and dressed, no makeup or hair dried/styled, waiting on my water to boil for my coffee. Speaking of which, I hear it now. Off to make coffee.....

Good morning Sue, KCMama, and anyone else up at this early hour.

I just finished vacuuming underneath the tree and putting the skirt down. Now to fill it up with presents.

The only thing that isn't done is the angel on top. Every year her wings come off during storage. I want DH to find his hot glue gun and hopefully fix it once and for all!

The shirts were $19.99 each. Normally $40.00. They are having something called the 12 Days at Catherines. That was one of the values during one day.

I'm about to start some laundry. I think I'll have some iced coffee.

It's just a little after 8 and I have 2 batches of Chex Mix and a batch of rolo's done. I have also refilled pill packs. I hope I haven't peaked too soon.

My boss gave me a Ronco rotisserie for Christmas. I made a pork loin last night, and it was so good. I think I will do my ham for Christmas on it. I have never had any desire for a rotisserie, but I can't believe how good it is.

It was about 3/4 done.

I had all the lights and glass balls on it. But I hadn't yet dug into the handcrafted stuff, dough ornaments, and that sort of thing. I also put a jumbo box of candy canes on the tree. I could have used 2 or 3 boxes! That is a big tree. Now it's done. I'll take some pix soon.

Lony time for you to hunker down in your cozy Christmas nest. Brrrrr!

Eliza enjoy your coffee with DH. Hope your son does well on his ACT test.

Hey all, we are back from room set up/assignment and Registration Check In for the Forum. We will be leaving in about an hour to head back for lunch and for the Class we are teaching in the Afternoon Session.

Good job, Lucky! How do you make Rolos? I don't do caramels to I would cheat and buy them.

Congrats on the Rotisserie! That is an awesome gift. Is there a weight limit/size limit on the Rotisserie? Is this a kind that attaches to your grill or a self standing device?

I am doing well. I overdid it yesterday getting out of the recliner a lot by myself. I ended up crying and having to take an extra pain pill. I'm trying not to take them because they give me cotton mouth.
