So here I sit at work. So far it hasn't been very eventful but sometimes things start to get livlier around midnight when the nursing shifts change. Then the new shift starts ordering tests and stuff.

It's about 36 outside. My car keeps telling me to watch for ice. But there has been no precipitation lately.

Gas was down to $3.11 last week but now it's up to $3.25. Nooo it's going the wrong way.

Eliza that dragon software sounds awesome. I've never heard of it before. Too cool!

It's a rainy morning here. No big plans here for the end of the year. I may start taking some Christmas down today. Tonight will just be a quiet evening here at home for hubs and I, which is fine with us. DD went home yesterday evening.

Enjoy life and don't let it pass you by waiting for the day you are a size (insert goal size here) Sometimes, we miss the little things working toward the bigger picture.

Miss Sue it sounds like you have a wonderful evening planned. I think we are going to the gun range today and then to Sheridan tonight to a friends house. Nothing major and we want to be home early to beat the drunken rush.

They say whatever you are doing at midnight is what you will be doing all year so I want to be having some quality cuddle time with the Mr.

Good morning peeps. I guess I'm the only one working today.

It is awful outside---gray and rainy but it's only 38 so they said it might turn to sleet, snow, who knows???? Dh is cooking a rb tonight and we still have a container of that luscious lobster bisque left from last week. The date says it's good till Jan 5.

Plus dh got the kids chips and pizza rolls. We're all set. No champagne for us this year. We're just hanging out at home and that's it. Weather is going to be nasty so I feel bad for those that are planning on going out. Not a good combo---icy streets and drunk people.

8 am this morning he comes in and wakes us up

gah i am glad he came to visit SIGH but he knew his Dad has to work tonight and the trouble he has been having at work he came by before his work and then after work tonight he wil be with the in laws

Good Morning ladies....Hope the New Year brings us all good things....and that finally something slaps my face and I get on the diet path not straying so much.. and I agree Elizakins...I always think of the wasted time dieting with absolutely no results...Anyway..

Mona.. I guess it's my age.. but for the past month I felt like TOM as arriving tomorrow... a few spots and nothing....but oh boy I had the PMS....hope you feel better and work improves....

So I slept in until 7:50...I weighed myself and after I picked myself up from the ground.. took a quick shower.. cause it's cold in here..it's 42 outside..which is fantastic!! I am not complaining...my hubs is I am not.. I love this, it's cold the crickets are somewhere else...life is good with the weather...

I gotta get my fat butt to Lowes to make a payment.. so I will do that about 10am...so I think I am going to try and walk 30 laps.. this cold is far from gone and I just get doubly winded....but I am going to start today, rather than the first...

And oh by the way...everything I made yesterday, was fantastic LOLOL!!! I made this chicken salad.. I know I got from Sue's Pin thingy....it may not be on her board thing, but it was off of someone whose recipe she pinned I believe.. not sure..maybe it is LOL.. anyway you mush up an avocado till smooth and add mayo, lemon juice, cilantro and green onion....like a dressing...and mix in cooked chicken....that was a huge hit!!! Thanks Sue...My California Mushrooms.. I pulled that recipe up from the 1930's!! that was good too.. so was the roasted cabbage.. even my hubs ate a wedge..today I am having that and making my artichokes before they go bad...

Well anyway Keep pinning Sue!!!
