I'd better get started on the cooking myself I have no idea what I'm cooking tonight. I think it's going to be chicken drumsticks with some kind of vegetable.

I think what scientists are trying to say is that we binge eat because we lack certain nutrients so our body is trying to get them from any kind of food. So perhaps for us to be successful, we need to add to our diet what we're lacking, as opposed to always trying to take away stuff.

No doubt you are right....I guess I have to figure out what it is that I am lacking...I do know I need my mental to be in the right place if that makes sense..

No SIGH i wish! we just got to see it in the air and there was a bit on the windshield when we woke up

Hi girls!! I have been being a slug today.

Melinda I am proud of you for your rice. Mike is half phillipino so he like his rice sticky. It took me forever to figure out how to make it that way. Also rinsing the rice before you cook it helps to wash off some of the starch.

I am going to make the same new years resoultion that I did last year since I kept it pretty well. I vowed not to kill anyone and low and behold, I did it!

4° is way way too low

I can't even imagine what it would feel like at 4°! I would probably never leave the house. I wonder how our friend Ruth is doing up in Alaska. I remember the pictures she used to post because she lives next to a glacier. I don't think the snow and cold are going to get me as much as the gray skies for months and months and months. It will be very depressing with the gray sky.

I need to remember to go and enter my food for today. I've been trying to keep track of it and make sure I don't eat too many carbs or calories. It's actually kind of scary when you start adding it in and then the calories just explode!
