Marking my spot. How does one make their own head? Nov 29. I would quite enjoy starting my own country on Nov. 22nd though....
 It will be named Onelandia, and everyone there can eat whatever they want and never get above 136 lbs. . Why 136 you may ask....just looks like a nice even number. Linda! So glad you checked in. I know we were all concerned about you.
 Well, I just woke up. I don't remember hearing anyone knock so I think we got 0 trick-or-treaters. LOL. The porch light is off so it was all good. KCMama I'll bet your spooky milk jugs turned out great! Deb I never noticed that search feature in Pinterest. Thanks.  In the morning when the local store opens up I need to go buy some carrots and celery for my stew. Looking forward to it.Chewie I love corny jokes like those. haha! Mmmm chicken and rice. Sounds like good comfort food. Lony you must feel good that you got your storage shed all organized. I have so much organizational stuff to do around here. For example most of our office stuff is still in boxes shoves in the closets.  |

Good morning! Happy Thursday!
I cannot wait for going back to normal time. It is too early to get up. Not sure why it's pushed back into November. Studies show there isn't much benefit to it, anyway. Why do we need to stay on it from March till November is beyond me.  Field trip and running around all day today. Then a 2-hr meeting after school. Probably won't get home till after 6 again. Don't know why people like meetings so much. We just had one on Monday.... Enough ranting.....have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning Sunshines!! I went to bed at 9:30 and got up at 8. I could not figure out why I was so sore, then I remembered I was moving generators, trailers and hitches yesterday.
I used to work like a horse, but now I am just getting soft. LOL oh well I guess it is better to be soft than be a broken down old woman. Looks like it might rain today. Mona do you need some help with the orginizing? I will come help. hehe Eliza don't let them work you too hard dear. Sue, we need pictures of Eli in his costume! Deb, Stephen is going to be a busy boy!

Morning.. It's my favorite month and it's still hot.. anyway
Sue.. I love Sweet Baby Ray. not spicy though.. but wow that can make anything taste good... Mona...Me too.. I hate paying full price for chicken and beef.. it's outrageous here...going to Walfarts in an hour for med refills. hoping they have a few things at a good price...I found this pork Carnitas recipe on Sue's pin thingy I gotta try and I am not even a big pork eater...hoping those country ribs will be a good price... Lony... you know my son said to me 2 days ago.. so Mom what are you cooking for Thanksgiving..and I just thought wow that is so odd...I said the usual, stuffing, mashed potatoes.... I said your dad is working both the day and night job on Thanksgiving...Then my son said oh cause Matthew invited us!!! So I said are you telling me you want to go to his house for Thanksgiving??? I said I don't know them and I am not going, but go ahead.. and I think he saw how that floored me and he goes.. no no I was just extending the invitation.. and, he said, you know sometimes Matt is a Douche.. but his mother is always hospitable...I am thinking jeese just last year, you called her the B word, cause she wanted to take her kids out of band..anyway I said if you want to go there, fine and go...I know eventually kids pull away.. why not start in 3 weeks..

I am already thinking of my menu that I am going to cook.. it seems as the years go by, less and less of the good stuff is on sale...remember it used to be this particular brand of turkey was .49 cent a pound for Thanksgiving.. and now they added must buy 30 bucks worth of groceries..
I want to make stir fry green beans with cubed potatoes and I know ewww but Brussels sprouts with bacon... |

Do you know the family well? It seems it would be odd to invite someone you hardly know to something like that. This year it is only going to be the two of us and I am beside myself with excitement! It is the first year ever we are going to have holidays alone. No worrying about getting everythig done by a certian time or dressing up. We may have dinner in our jammies. I know I am going to make way too much food but lucky for me my man loves him some leftovers. |
