Been a while- Update

I've been so busy with the school year ending and being a full time summer mommy plus doing day care for a friend of mine who recently went back to work. I've had good days and bad days but I am happy to say that the good days seem to have outnumbered the bad because my current weight is fluctuating between 220 and 216! That's a solid 30lbs and it is FINALLY really starting to show! I've had more compliments than I can count now. My clothes are fitting so much better and the ones that fit well before I started this are nearly falling off (my still favorite comfy pants which I am currently wearing are going to get a trip to the sewing machine in the near future LOL). I made it through my first 5K last Saturday and while I did mainly walk the whole way I had an awesome time and felt a little sore and tired but generally great! Once school starts back up again I plan to get back to the gym on a regular basis again. I am missing it something fierce but with a house full of girls it's been next to impossible to get over there and by the end of the day they've exhausted me. LOL I also have plans to meet up with a friend's mother who is a yoga instructor after school starts so I'll be doing cardio, some weight training and yoga. As much as I'm loving the better fit and general shape of my body in a bathing suit this year I CAN'T WAIT for next summer! I wish I knew how to post pictures on here because I would love to show y'all some before and after pics! Don't know how often I'll be able to check and update until school starts back up again but I wanted to take a few minutes to let y'all know how things were going.

Let me be the first to say OUTSTANDING! I love hearing how you are incorporating exercise into your days. I am proof positive that it makes you feel awesome and for sure speeds your weight loss as well as how you look as you lose. Keep up the amazing work!!!

That's wonderful, GypsyLizze! Your happiness shines through in your post! Congratulations on losing those 30 pounds and on all your exercise--and special congratulations on making it through the 5K.

Let us know how things are going for you along your journey, especially as you are able to incorporate more gym time and new exercises after the summer ends. What an inspiring post!!!
