UGGGH SO MAD AT STARBUCKS!!!!

I always get a sugar free vanilla latte w/ heavy cream...it keeps me full till way past lunch. today I thought i would ask what other sugar free flavors they had so they said they had mocha and cinnamon..so i ordered one with half mocha and half cinnamon. (I am not a starbucks queen...i just order one thing i dont understand the rest of the menu)

I get to the window and she says one tall mocha...and I pay. Im like hmmm i wonder if there's a difference. so when I get it I say...so this is all sugar free right? and i look at the label and they have used mocha syrup and sugar free cinnamon...so she says sorry and re-makes it. I leave drink and thing ooooh my gooooood this is amazing!...the little bell goes off...something isn't right. but oh well she re-made it so it has to be right...

I decide to look it up and low and behold to make a "mocha" (keeping in mind I ordered a Latte but i'm too dumb to know they are different) they use this special sauce on top of the other syrups i asked for...24 carbs in one oz. Im soooo mad i could spit. I even lied and told her I was a diabetic just to be sure they made it right. so much for day 3 being a success...i'll probably have killer cravings now all day

That would make me mad too! I know for me, wheat is what sets me up for cravings and binges. Hopefully you will be ok!

I am always suspicious of restaurant food and drinks. I usually get seltzer and bring my MIO for flavor. When I found out that most burgers are loaded with fillers ( soy, etc ) and not 100% beef, that was a revelation , as well. These days I prepare almost everything I eat at home, but back in the day I traveled a lot with my business and I would order on plan, but for sure I paid the price with cravings later when there were hidden or mislabeled items. *sigh* Good luck getting past this.

I am so sorry that happened to you Missy, but you bring up something that is a great point. Back a few months ago I ordered a diet lemonade from Chick-Fil-A and realized after I got home that it was their regular lemonade, not the diet version made with Splenda. I wasn't about to waste gas going back to get it right, but I did call because even if I wasn't on a low carb plan, I am still a diabetic and it could seriously hurt someone if they drink all of that sugar. Half the time when I order a diet drink from somewhere they don't even push in the little button on the lid indicating that it's diet. It just shows that the employees are not conscientious about making sure they are giving their customer the right thing. It's more than just an irritation...for some people it could be deadly! These restaurants really need to think about that!

I'm sure Chick-Fil-A would have made things right for you. Even if you didn't want to waste gas, next time just call them or even email them. They have really good customer service and are always aiming to make the customer happy. This is my experience at least. It does stink that they got it wrong in the first place though.
