Good morning. Dh and kids are on the boat. Please keep them in your prayers for safety. It's gray here and we had more storms over night. I'm so upset about that tree. Oh well, it sure could have been worse.

Consider it done sweetheart! The tree could have been a lot worse, it could have fallen on you!

Good morning sunshines. It is susposed to be in the 90's today I had better get out and enjoy the day while I can. Mike should be home on Wednesday sometime I have already been warned that they may want him to stay there two weeks next time he has to go up. I think I am going to have to dust off my sewing machine and get to making baby clothes.

I know the local walmart has fabric, I am just not sure how much of a selection they have. I may have to head to Casper (3 hour drive) and see what they have going on. Ahhh the joys of living in BF nowhere.

Wow--Lony, that's a very long drive for fabric. How about checking in thrift stores if there are any near you. I know I've seen fabrics at ours pretty often. Plus you can always re-cycle adult clothes into baby clothes too. Just a thought.

Hey everybody. Last night was my 2nd night training in the Blood Bank. I was so tired and gritty-eyed the first night, and I had a stress headache and it was just a pretty miserable night. Last night was much better though. It's hard going from knowing almost everything in the lab to training in a new section where you know nothing.

Lony stay cool. Hope you can find some closer options for fabric. Chewie's recycle idea is a good one!

Chewie so sorry about losing your tree during the storm.

Deb I'm sorry to hear about all those rude, disrespectful people at the funeral.

Eliza oh no summer school! But you are right, it's extra money. So sorry to hear about the neighbor boy in that accident. What a tragedy.

Sue glad you and your family had fun at the circus. That is great that your new job with all the walking is helping you get into better shape!

Seth sorry to hear that both you and your computer were sick. Hope you are both feeling better!

I got on the scale today after not weighing myself for about 2 weeks and I've gained 14 pounds. It's scary seeing 298. I've been hovering at 285 for weeks and weeks. I think a lot of the problem is my doctor cut out my water pill and cut my dose of metformin in half. The other part of the problem is that I've been eating too many carbs. But for what I'm eating I shouldn't have gained 14 pounds. That is quite upsetting....and I've got my 6 month checkup with my surgeon on Thursday. I was already feeling a bit guilty that I haven't been eating like I should, but now to gain all this weight at the last minute is just a real bummer.

Mona, you and I both know you can't eat enough calories to gain 14 pounds in 2 weeks. That is the equivilant of 140 candy bars above the calories you need. I'd call your doctor that changed your medicine.

Mona--sorry you're having a stressful time with the new training. I don't know what to say about your weight---I'm a mess in that area myself. I bet you'll start losing again if you just get a bit stricter. I started today---basically counting calories and staying lc. I'm researching paleo though.

i bet it is the water pill wonder why they cut it completely out instead of just lowering the dosage amount or frequency first?? IDK

Good morning. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Tee hee I know it's a cliche but maybe a good one to keep in mind.

I feel better today although woke to a mess(TOM)---if you're a female, you probably know what I'm referring too. YUCK

Hi again. Busy at work plus no one was answering the home phone/cell phones so I had to go pick up ds at football practice and come back to work.

Going home to lunch now. Actually need to go up my street to a neighbor's house that has an armoire for sale--looks nice, it's oak with a bunch of shelves. I think it might work as a solution to the boys' clothes issue. I'm thinking just put the folded clothes on the shevles but who knows?

Armoire isn't going to work---it's a computer one and I'm looing for a clothing one.

Where is everyone? I'm going to go read. Dh has a bunch of tree people coming today to give us estimates. We think the whole tree has to be taken down cause it's split in half and not safe.
