So everything went well and I have a new vehicle! I'm so pleased. Of course buying it depleated my money so I've got to wait a few weeks to license it and get insurance, but other than that, I'm so happy. It's like a weight is lifted.

You've worked really hard to earn that extra money. Especially watching that little terror last weekend.

Well we just got back from putting in an offer on the house we saw. It's a 30 year old mobile on its own land but its in fantastic shape. Here's a link. It's nothing special from the outside but the inside is very nice. It's in a small town of 5000 about 15 mins south of Eugene where I work. I've never lived in such a small town. So I hope our offer is accepted. We put in a full price offer and asked seller to pay for any lender required repairs...and since its a manufactured home it most likely needs a permanent foundation.

Good morning all. Got back from Florida yesterday afternoon. My mom seems to be doing good.

I was crazy busy the whole time I was there. I ended up making, packaging and freezing 60 single serve meals for her. While I was there, I found out she is a diabetic. I tested her blood sugar and it was high so I looked at her medical records and her fasting blood sugar has been testing high for years. I took her to the doctor and I have the feeling he just missed it, said he had been keeping an eye on it but never once did he ever mention it to her nor did he ever order an a1c test. Time to change doctors. My sisters are going to look for a new doctor for her.

I was in Florida for a week and I didn't even get a tan. lol

Good morning. TGIF Still warm and humid here with a slight possibility of storms.

DS17 is so tired. It was so hard waking him up this morning. Normally he'd sleep in tomorrow but there is a mandatory meeting at work at 8:00 am. Crazy! He doesn't work till 4 tomorrow so he'll have to go to the meeting, come home and then go back later. Then they have him working 4-9 on Sunday so he'll miss the family dinner. Poor kid! Oh well, work is important too.
