Do you know my ds's tux and dress shoe rental cost $130??? While I know that's nothing compared to a dress, I was surprised it was that much. I guess I'm living in the 70s. LOL

we got Steven's for 103 and that is with the more expensive shoes LOL those white and black ones 26 bucks just for them! LOL we thought they would mimic spats without actually ahving to keep up with spats they had cheaper tux rentals too but he wanted the tailcoat one with the vest that was way low in the front the one that most closely resembled the Penguin
saw a sign in Knoxville they were SELLING tuxes for 99 bucks! i wish i had been able to check them out ebay has several for CHEAP (that is what i did for Kennys 8th grade formal ) wish i knew how to order for Steven's size he loves cosplay and could use it for his Senior prom next year too( this summer at college it would be handy too)

You might be surprised. I have a lot more thrift/consignment type stores here than I did when I lived in a BIG town.

Lony, now all you will need is a couple of cowboy hats, jeans, boots, and shirt. You will be good to go! LOL

Try not to pick this worry up and carry it all this week. Let us take some of it from you by praying the prayer of peace and healing upon you.

Good night all. I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. Sweet dreams all.

Good morning! Up at 4:45 to exercise. Wishing all a great and peaceful Tuesday!

Between serious pollen allergens and sudden changes in air pressure around here, even my students are cranky, poor things, just like their teacher.....

Good morning Sunshines. It is Tuesday I am going to be headed to work for a while. I have to do payroll, there will be a bunch of grumpy guys come friday if I don't.

Thank you all for the love and support. I woke up this morning with a peace that everything is going to be okay.

Sue if I was going to be a cowgirl I would need an actual cow costume! hehehehehe

Eliza I hope you and your students start feeling better.

Chewie, have lot's of fun tonight and tell the DH Happy Birthday for me!!

I think that it is a Happy Glitter kinda day.

Good morning all. Just got back from taking ds13 to the med clinic. He cut his foot on Saturday night and it was looking bad. Plus when we went to have him soak it in epsom salts last night, it hurt really bad. Dr wants him on antibiotics so he's home today. We also went to IHOP for breakfast. I had a giant western omelet. YUM but now I'm stuffed and tired. Allergies are bad. I'm just going to take my benadryl and vitamins now.

Lony--glad you're at peace. Worrying never helps anything but I know it's hard not to worry.

Good Morning Everybody!!

Beautiful day here. Hope you all have a beautiful one as well. I have just finished eating a yummy breakfast! I fried up two eggs (instead of doing my usual omelette) sprinkled cayenne pepper and salt over, when they were pretty much set I sprinkled shredded cheddar over them. I cut up some leftover shredded chuck roast and pan fried them quickly with some of the cheddar that had fallen into pan when topping the eggs (love it when that happens as the cheese gets crispy!!). Then put the meat on top of the eggs, topped all with fresh salsa from Sam's. Oh. So. Good!!

I am checking in while waiting on my walking partner. She wants to go out at 10 so I have been using the time to get things done here. Stripped my bed. Made up ds' bed, picked up all his dirty laundry again, brought down the dirty dishes and empty drink bottles. Am on my second load of laundry. Did the dishes and made my dh a quesadilla to take in his lunch as I didn't really have enough leftovers last night to make up a lunch for him.

I spent 4 hours online last night composing a letter to my daughter and googling quotes. I came across some rather hysterical quotes. Texted my daughter, my son, my dh, my sister, and a friend with some of them. They all wanted to know if I was tipsy/drunk. No. hadn't had one drop. Just thought things were so funny. Perhaps from being online so looooooong who knows?!

Here are just a couple:

Reality is a figment of your hallucination.

Imagine, if you will, a world without hypothetical situations.

I'm right 90% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

So what's up with all of you?

Oh, dear, Chewie. Is he the one who cut his foot during football or was that the other one? Hope the antibiotics get to work quickly.

Allergies are bad here as well. Not for me, thankfully, but my dh and dd sound awful!! They both have asthma and allergies. Allergies trigger their asthma so they are really coughing like mad. Gone through a ton of kleenex as well..... Stopped in at Target yesterday at my ds' request for his generic Claritin and they were completely out of every kind--rain checks on everything cuz allergies are so bad right now.

Can you stay awake if you take benadryl? I can't!

I already feel like I've had a full day. Accckkk I'm at work now, ds and dh are both home today. I want to sew at least one more cushion cover and maybe get to the misc paperwork I have piled up waiting on my paycheck this week. Then at 4, dh and I are going out for his bd happy hour apps.

Yep, same kid. He gets hurt so often that it's getting old now. LOL Benadryl does make me sleepy but I had about 5 cups of coffee at breakfast so I'll be fine.

Well, I have made it through one page of your posts. Dryer has stopped so I need to go hang up clothes. Also need to vacuum up the baking soda I poured on the carpet after dd spilled a glass of tea last night. Worked like a charm on red wine. Hoping it does as well on tea.
