MIchelle, this one is for you, I just open my computer and saw your post. I know how hard it is when you are doing everything right and it seems its not working. But look at your pictures, You have done so good! When I look at your pictures you know what I see? A beautifull woman, even if you don't loose any more weight. You are still geourgous! Just take a break today, tomorrow you will feel better and ready to take on this journey again. Because losing weigth and keeping it off is not a trip is a journey!

Good afternoon girls!
Abbs- I used to hate pictures, now you can tell why, my face gets bigger than anything else, when I gain weight. Now, I really enjoy having pictures taken. Hopefully by the middle of the year I will enjoy it even more.LOL!!

Nikki you have inspired me to get back in the gym.

Hot tamale- Hope you feel better soon, walking is as good exersice as any.

Took a nap after work today, I did the same thing last Wednesday too. For like almost two hours. Wednesdays are rough because I work late Tuesday nights until 8:15 and then Wednesday I work at 6:30am. I used to come home and binge on terrible junky snacks. Looking back on it, maybe that was out of tiredness. Probably a good idea to take a little nappy instead of stuffing myself silly!
Abbs: I agree with you. I would much rather take a nap here lately than to stuff my face.

Michelle - I just wanna say that your progress has really inspired me. I knew that I was gonna re-start Low Carb January 1st, but seeing your progress pics and how well you've succeeded so far has really kept me going on some of the harder days. I don't always want to stay on plan, but I think of how well you've done and I think, "she did it, I can do it too." For some reason, I guess I relate to you because I want to lose about as much as you have. Your "before" pic looks like me right now and your current pic is my goal. Just sayin', I think you're doing an amazing job and you can't give up.

B - atkins peanut butter bar, coffee and cream
L - Jimmy John's Vito Unwich (italian sub but wrapped in lettuce instead of bread)

Welcome to the newbies and when I get time to post regularly I will get to know you better. I am still on plan...its so darn slow..hve finally joined the Y and will begin pool exercise Monday. My husband hs finally retired so maybe things will settle down some.....altho we will be going to Nashville area next week end to see my babies....then the next week end we will be helping them move to Mobile, Ala...plus we will be squeezin in a gamblin trip to Biloxi, Ms which is 45 mins frm Mobile.....lol...at any rate....I am going to try so very hard to remain on plan while we are gone...

Laura, so glad things are working for you....

Melinda, hang in there...its all going to kick in .....

Afternoon and nites are so very hard for me....I so want to snack......hve no clue why its so hard but it is....If I just let myself go.....I would be 400 lbs by Easter.....I am so hoping to be below 280 by Easter...

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and post my menu. I have some new recipes to share Monday! See what happens when I can bake.

B-coffee/hwc
L-2 hb eggs
S-3 protein powder/pumpkin muffins (will post recipe monday)
Im full right now but if I get hungry later, 1 piece parm/almond crusted tilapia w/1 serving broccoli slaw w/soy sauce I think.
S-1 slice lemon custard tart (will post recipe Monday)
S-had 3 slices of pepperoni

Yeah buddy, my tart has a crust. Whaaaaaaaat. lol. It's only got about 120cal/2.2g total carbs per serving. Yeah. I'm pretty awesome. I got pics as well. It's too hard to post from my laptop.

Hello! I am just starting, hoping to be able to post here. I can't promise to be completely regular in posting - family issues, but I am just starting HCG and really need the support. Am on that section too, but I have a LOT to lose. Can't even weigh myself daily, but working on faith. Day 4, and no hunger. You all seem to be doing so well, and I love the encouragement. This is the year- I am Finally going to take care of myself!

Yesterday was sort of rough, didn't have time to post.
Yesterday: B- leftover sausage and cheese egg bake, coffee with cream
L- leftover sausage and cheese egg bake
D- 1 roasted bone-in chicken breast, broccoli and cheese casserole.

Today: B- coffee and cream
L- Wendy's double baconator (no bun) and a side salad w/ranch.
D- pizza with that crust made from eggs, cream cheese, and grated parmesan.

My menu today:
L-2 pepperoni/egg cups, 2 pumpkin protein muffins
S-6 pepperoni chips, 1 lemon custard muffin
D-I need to eat this damn tilapia I been saying I was going to eat. It's on its last day. Maybe some broccoli slaw made some kind of way, maybe with soy sauce.
S-Slice of lemon custard tart I think.

I also hit the gym and did abs and arms and a little treadmill.

B-Coffee/1 sweet & low
L-tuna pouch, light mayo, pickled jalapeno
S-pre-work out, tuna, mayo, jalapeno
D-either2-3 eggs fried in butter w/franks or more tuna salad
S-if needed, tuna salad.

At the most today,
694 cals, 10.06g carbs.

Had a bad weekend and trying to make up for it.

Hi everyone! I try not to weigh everyday... Monday's are my actual weigh in day. 234.2 . I'm ready to kiss the 30's goodbye!

Michelle, I can post what I eat but I didn't want to confuse anyone new to low carb by seeing my menus.

Today's menu

Breakfast- 1 cup of cheerios and 1 cup of skim milk
snack- banana
Lunch- salad with grilled chicken and light ranch
snack- orange
Dinner- Low fat Shepard's pie

L- leftover slice of LC pizza
D- salad made from spinach, cold cuts, cheese, and pepper. Peanuts for dessert.

Michelle, do you use fresh jalapenos or canned? In your tuna i mean. also, I'm interested in your protein powder pumpkin muffins. Do tell.

Ha, I love LC. I was up to 243.6 yesterday. 1 day of being diligent and I'm back down to 239.8

Ok now on with the show. Anything under 238 this week would be lovely!

We are leaving this afternoon and I'm going to try to be on my best behavior. I just need to make sure I get plenty of fluids in tomorrow. Last time I was such a mess I hardly drank anything until we got back to the hotel at like 4pm. I'm not worried this time so I need to make sure I take care of myself.

I will take my laptop so Ill be in touch with yall. I suspect he will be sleeping most of the time

Michelle, where y'all going? I hope your able to eat on plan.

I'm so excited, I have a pair of 20 average V Girl jeans (from Lane Bryant). I have had them for over 10 years with the tag still on them because they never fit. Well guess what, they fit this morning! These jeans have NO stretchy to them!

I really need to do some clothes shopping but I hate to spend very much money because I don't plan on wearing 20's for long. My body is funny because up top is smaller, so in tops I wear a 18 or XL.

Tomorrow is my friday, three day weekend ahead!

I'm way into making egg bake lately. I'm sure i'll get tired of it eventually, but for now i'm enjoying it.

2cups cheese

400 degrees 30min. 8 servings

Hi!

D- soup i made up from rotisserie chicken, cabbage and green onions. Peanuts for dessert

Realized today that crystal light lemonade gives me heartburn. I'll try another flavor, i like switching it up from plain water and have been limiting myself to 2 cans of diet soda per day max. I drink enough coffee as it is, and there's no way i'm givin that up.
I have the day off work tomorrow, but plenty of housework to do...

snack- apple
Supper- pork steak and asparagus
dessert- WW ice cream

Amber, I have one can of diet pop a day. The rest of the day it's water. Once in a while I use the Mio drops in my water. Have you tried them? They are pretty good and come in alot of flavors.

I haven't tried the Mio drops yet, but that reminds me, I've been meaning to! Will have to snatch some up this weekend. I like the idea that you can just add a little bit of flavor, I don't like a lot. (I usually am putting the single-serve pouch of crystal light, meant for a 16-20 oz bottle, into a 32-oz bottle, and even that seems a little strong sometimes.) All I want is a little flava.

So I'm still trying to figure everything out - a challenge group like this is a little more intimate (smaller numbers of folks), casual and you can bring up any topics you like, unlike the lobby for example, where it's 1000's of members reading and each new topic requires a new thread?
